    Hey Buffy,

You don't sound like a whinge but you certainly do sound like you could do with a break.

I hope you enjoy your weekend away and I'm sure it will do you the world of good.

Hello kika and any one else who is reading.

I am watching Doctor Who so a little distracted. I love that programme and David Tenant.

    ho hum.

right on to the money, I have been moneysaving for six months, made some progress, some sensible decisions some not sensible descisions.

discovered that I can't live on two hundred pounds a month, when my travel is 72 quid a month, plus the rats have been ill, and my emergency vet fund got sucked up.

I also have toothache - this means horribly expensive private treatment for which I have no cash, which means 0% card - of which i have two so that is good, although it will mean over all I am in more then when i started.

so I have failed most of the challenges I set myself at the start of the year.
    - lets just get the depressing bit out of the way - live on 4,000 (5,060) gone, pay off ten thousand, well I might do it but it won't really be ten thousand pounds since I am borrowing another 2 or so to cover dentist plus more driving lessons - thought 12 would be enough guess not.

On the plus side, I am still putting my change in to my pot, do have some savings, which I will be using to pay off the credit card debt, incurred due to ou courses,

right i hate doing really long post here in case they get lost

so will finish in a sec

    xx

my loan in August last year was 21,448. currently its 17,999.17(7.9%) but i do have a cc debt ( OU and driving) of 1157 (0%)

plus I need to borrow money for the teeth. hmmmmmmm. and then there is the possiblity of an intensive driving course which costs 917 pounds.

so you see its not good.

Next week I am going to the dentist, to find out the price, and then its a case of using up my savings to pay towards the old cc debt and then use the money i have to over pay my loan to pay off the new cc debt.

I think my new aims for the next six months are

    1. clear my cc debt by dec.
    2. learn to drive and past my test
    3. finish my OU courses
    4. use my pot money for Christmas.
    5. run Avon properly. any profit put towards debt.

I have cancelled all my storecards, and credit cards that I no longer use and now shop on line ( means I don't buy stuff I don't need) have bought birthday presents early ( no last minute panic expensive buys) am vaguely e baying although need to get on to that a bit more. Although I have put my spending money up it means I do have enough to enjoy myself and maintain some sort of life socialising - I know its not essential, but staying in all the time just makes me miserable, being single and not leaving the house means I spend a lot of time a lone or watching tv and too much of either is not a good thing. cheap tho it is!

I 'd best go now my tooth really hurts. I have had a headache fro three days so hope these posts make some sort of sense. I have missed checking in here. so I shall go and read up on a few posts.

    should be OUing.

    I 'll do both.

    honest.

    xx

Well Sunday was a wash out,I did more yesterday with a headache!

I still need to write my OU stuff, God knows How I am going to get it all done.

Also have to mark, and sort out school stuff. Truthfully i should I do that. hmmmmm.

On the money side, not spent anything ALL weekend. In fact the last time I left the house was THursday! bit sad I know but I did some gardening Friday and killed my back and then I had the headache, so didn't go anywhere. My room is tidy, my post is sorted I know what I am wearing to work tomorrow.

I just need to go through the mighty big pile in the hall of essays and stuff. and make a plan for the week.

It was good to have a break from here for a bit. I hate the fact that I am in so much debt, I have money, a good job and the prospect of a rise next year. It shouldn't be like this. it is ridiculous. I have wasted so much. and being on here and see people suffer when they don't deserve it well the guilt got to me.

A couple of weeks of not thinking about it quite so much gave me a chance to get my head round a few things.

I spend a lot of my time day dreaming and planning without actually doing anything. this effects my job my weight and my money.

I also have big plans, debt free in two years (impossible) own own house in four, not possible.

I don't have the brain for that kind of plan. I need short term goals. flylady always says baby steps. I can do her way, my room has been transformed as has my work place.

So for this next phase of the debt free buffy here is the plan.

However boring and short I must come on here and write every day about what I am spending. its accidental spending that is getting me. stuff I do without thinking about it.

I am going to do things in 7 week blocks.

so my aim for the next seven weeks is to -

    complete two successful Avon campaigns.
    sell 35 items on ebay
e mail my friends more regularly.

and thats it. those three things.

and really now I need to go and sort out my work!
