A200 - boring as the most boring thing in the world
and a Money one, you and your finances I want an honours degree in Humanities with History and Media studies. I *should* have ninety points by the end of the year - I did some ten pointers last year and should know the results by June I have done all the open choice courses and the next lot next year are the media and history ones.

I love studying but find it so hard to fit it all in and frequently get extensions etc.

good to know I am not the only nutter!

    Hi Buffy,

OMG, what a rollercoaster of emotions you have been through.

Well done on your epiphany (spelt right?)

Seems like you are boxed in where you are now and getting your own place could give you that extra freedom, although beware of the extra expense.

Me and my sister used to be constantly at each others throats, fighting over nothing really when we lived at mums. Now i have my own place our relationship is much better. We still have ups and downs but I can either hang up the phone if she has rang me:rolleyes: or leave mums if we're there;) . The next day it's all forgotten:j

Good luck with the ebay stuff. I have made quite a few quid ebaying since starting my diary and my epiphany. Re the spreadsheet..... I got a good one emailed to me off the regulars on here. takes into account paypal, listing fees, final value postage, basically everything.

PM me if you would like it and I will email it to you. It's in excel btw.

    Keep your chin up mate.
  • Well, here we are again

I am in my room, which is thankfully tidy, my sister si visiting and so I am stuck up here, I have to go out about 5.30 to baby sit, well more like six.

Normally on a saturday afternoon I pretend to be asleep so I aviod having to sit and chat to them for 3 hours. Sad isn't it? Today I am awake - mum has just come up and asked are you asleep? er no sitting right here?

it's just that I am the youngest and the idiot and the one who makes loads of mistakes....( oh and I am also the only one who has a job, went to uni and handles all her problems herself without running to mum and dad)

I get so sick of it. they don't live in the real world, neither my sister or her Bf work, mortgage paid nice pension - which is all good - they well he worked hard for it. but DEAR GOD they are so boring, no politics, no religion, no views on anything, never waiver from being reserved and quiet, their laughter sounds put on, they don't drink or swear, never go on holiday, never got married, never go out or appear to have any friends.

they have hobbies, I complained earlier to mum that they never talk about anything else, Mum said well neither do you when they are here. well that's because anything else is too controversial and generally the news is a conversation killer , not that it takes much.

I don't know how I managed to be born into such a family of unopinionated people. they don't even like animals much. I got really annoyed with some one on the TV ages ago and said something deeply sarcastic, I got told to calm down and then the TV was turned off! not by me or my mum, but by the boyfriend!!!!!!!!

Sitting here right now I feel like I am being squashed to fit, I know how self pitying it all sounds, but saturdays are the absolute worst day of the week for me. at least at work you can detach yourself and focus on what you want,(and mostly I hate my job at the moment but it rarely makes me cry.) but when I sit here and think s*** thats it for the next years larry and mo will show up late and talk meaningless crap do nothing except waste time
and I will either be trapped here or caught downstairs.

So I need to be out on Saturdays........

I guess I could go to the library? I can't go shopping - wasting money and can't stay out late enough......... Library would be good for OU. perhaps meet people for dinner?

I have to do something. its not until you write it down you realise how pathetic it is, a 30 something woman hiding in her room from her own family.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Mum very much and I don't really hate my sister, I guess I really don't understand her at all. it just seems such a waste.

any how. best get on and stop just sitting here!

    take care all
    xx
