InTheBrownStuff wrote: »Hi Buffy,
Sorry to hear you're feeling sh1tty.
To give yourself something to do can't you list all the stuff you said you had to sell on ebay??? Did you get the sheet i sent you?
If you don't want to spend money but want to go out and have a good time wear a really short skirt and stand by the bar:D won't take long for one of us red hotted males to buy you a drink (just kiddin btw but wanted to put a smile on your face)you succeeded! thank you, its really kind of you to reply even tho its not money related!
I never got the sheet (excel thing right?) sometimes my e mail does odd things with attachments! I will pm my address again if thats ok
I think it will be the library, since i need to study. That way I can do house stuff in the morning (or recover from fri night out if I can afford a social life!) and study till the library shuts, its open 9 till 5.30, which will cover the bulk of their visits.
I must do this, even if I don't feel like walking to the library I mst read my previous post and remember how much I hate just sitting here.
I could take my photos, but they do feel it neccessary to comment on everything you do in front of them, especially since she is the e bay expert.
thanks again, made me feel alot better

Good morning every one!
well, babysitting was LOVELY. I adore my friends little boy, he just turned one and is so good bed at seven little grizzling finished his bottle and off to sleep, so so good.
And I watched a TV programme this morning, some new thing on BBC and it had a bit about that AMAZING woman who had her legs blow off in 7/7.
She is beyond inspiring and I know it sounds lame but it did make me think, she does all this amazing stuff, not only overcoming her disability but trying to bring people together and talk about what has happened to her. incrediable. her name is Gill Hicks if anyone wants to do a search. I cannot imagine manging like that. she doesn't just cope, she lives a real and useful life.
Any how that certainly and completely put my "problems" into perspective.
I have it easy. My family do drive me nuts but they are here. And I don't have any money but thats entirely my own fault and will be solved.
So in short am feeling slightly embarrassed about yesterday. All I need to do is get off my a*** and go to the library - which will benefit me cos I do need to study!!!
Today I am going to sort out my post and do ALL my filing.
must just get some thing to eat first. already had a bacon sandwich this morning, weight watchers tomorrow
have a good day everyone

Hello Mum2one,
I haven't got another job, and I found out I am due for a sort of pay rise that I *may* not get if I change schools, so now I don't know what to do.
Well to be perfectly honest I know EXACTLY what I am going to do.
I am going to stay at my current job were they treat me like kack!
for two reasons.
1. I am well paid,
2. I will be WAY too expensive for most schools at my current wage and with the raise it will just be ridiculous, no one will hire me.
Two years, two years, thats all I have to last.
Two years.
With the pay raise I should n't need to opt out of my pension either which is good, I was very reluctant to leave it.
am happy about the theory test though.

Hello people.
I am not doing so well!
starting with the bad things
1. vets bill on the cc - about 100 pounds, plus a few "expenses" ( me being kack with money and forgetting things) means I can't over pay my loan again, that means I have only over paid once this year.
2. I forgot to write my essay for ou - well to be honest I am having trouble with my tutor and want to change. but had no response from my e mail. he ignores my e mails, and doesn't answer direct questions - just gives bog standrad replies.
3. It is late and i am not in bed yet, plus not ready for work tomorrow
4. I am broke.
5 I have tooth ache.
6. I haven't stuck to my diet AT ALL. had to eat stuff here instead of buying my own food due to a futile attempt to save money, pointless given that I went to ikea this morning and spent 40 quid.
Good things.
1. well, I know given the list above I shouldn't of but since I can't drive and My friend was going I went with her to ikea and got everything I needed to finish my room which I have been doing up since August, I have to say I did jst think sod it it needs to be finished and it is now. It looks lovely and I am so pleased with it.
2. I have clean clothes and clean pets,
3. it is my easy week at work.
4. my rat Harry who was ill seems better
5. and Tabitha my hamster who scared the kack out of me yesterday by drooling everywhere seems better to day.
6. I know I have already said it but my room looks lovely!
I think overall giving myself 200 pounds a month to spend is too little,
currently that is supposed to cover or at least I would like it to cover
travel
lunch
pet food
clothes
birthdays
skin treatments ( been nearly a year since i had any and my skin is dreadful and I am sick of it.)
holidays?
dinner out twice a month( two different groups of friends)
hobbies ( which i guess I shouldn't have)
You see if I was a true DFW I would cut out a lot of those things but I have tried and all I find myself doing is throwing what essentially amounts to a childish strop and spending loads. the two hundred quid just covers travel, lunches and pet food its not enough.
I feel so awful saying that I know there are people here who have less and I am sorry i sound like a spoilt cow. I really am.
I just think the last few years have been horrible and I want to be able to enjoy myself a bit?
I am a bit like this with dieting, I must have some treat or something some reward to be motivated.
I am not saying I will go crazy, I shall just look seriously at how to do my lunch and rats dinners etc on th echeap perhaps a, no not perhaps definitely work out what I spend on EVERYTHING instead of having a blanket 200 pounds.
I know I can cut down more but I believe if I am a bit more generous i won't feel so trapped and tempted to think sod it I am not making a difference etc etc.
so this week I shall keep a proper spending diary.
crikey its 12 already must go to bed.
night all
