I had to take today off work, toothache was SO bad.

I moved the last of my savings(finally figured out how to telephone bank with this account!!) to pay off my OU credit card.

asked for a vague quote from dental nurse, she said it would cost 2000- 3000 pounds to have the treatment I need

think its time to learn to matched bet or go on the game!!

Kika - all my pets except one are rescues, loads of rats hamsters, guinea pigs(to tempt you!!) are in need of homes. I guess most people think of only homeless dogs and cats but lots of other animals are available.

I have my year nine on wed and am being observed. oh joy.

I have my free up grade phone - an n73 which I cannot get on with at all. and side from toothache, I have loads of work. really should have done that today rather than faffing for england. although I did move some money round I guess which is good.

wish I could be more chatty bt my tooth hurts so I am off to sulk
    cheers

I'm so sorry to hear about toothache it really does drain you. I may need root canal, decision in august but at least I'm not in real pain more dull ache. We have a rescue bunny, it had a friend but it dug out and fence now goes even deeper. We have tunnels under lawn now,if I disappear you 'll know I'm stuck in hole.

    Hi!

Aw, poor you:grouphug:. Toothache is a pain (literally!).

Good luck with your observation on Wed. I am being observed twice next week. Once by my HoD and once by my mentor:eek: And with year 9

There are indeed many pets to rescue. And they are ever so grateful. I love my 2 guinea pigs :D

Have a relaxing evening and I hope you find something to soothe the pain.

Do you have to give up OU? How much have you done? Could you not take a break? It seems such a pity to give up altogether, Although I'm struggling with my course I don't want to give the whole thing up.

My dentist talked about removing the tooth and building on top of it, I just hope root canal is cheaper and less painful as i don't like dentists.

    Hi Buffy!

If there is one area where you can't be blamed for spending money, this is your health! But in the name of Zeus, this is expensive

Kika: I don't like dentists either. Although so far I have been very lucky (touch wood!!) as I have never had any problem!

    Good night!

I don't want to give up exactly,i do think that would be a kind of cop out. its, well ok I live with my Mum, its not how I imagined my life but my Dad died 18 months ago and its just been so hard. I miss him so much it feels impossible. Mum is obviously lonely and I have gone from being able to sit in my room all night and study/work/come and go as I please, to sort of keeping her company and sitting in living room - its not that I don't want to do that,I do but I know I should be up here working but then Mum is on her own so much(all day every day), I am very torn. Mum is more important to me then anything else. I was originally at home to save for a house we had so many plans. but I don't want to get in to that on here. thats done now. I have for the last two nights - due to teeth! spent time up here writing reports and doing school stuff and I know she has been sort of sad?

so I had a think tonight in between writing reports and decided I had best find a way to work properly downstairs, the laptop on my lap it rubbish, I have windows vista and the new word ( both rubbish) and really you need a table so you can use a mouse to answer the endless panicky questions it asks you. and there is no where to put books etc either. too much of a balancing act.

so its not very mse but i ordered a laptop table from Argos, it means i will be able to work downstairs, and keep Mum company. I can't say I really like sitting up here much either! so its a good idea.

Long term that solves one problem but short term I don't know what to say to my tutors,I am the excuse queen.

I will think about that tomorrow. now it should be reports!

I had root canal and filling, which was ok for ages(and I don't remember it being hidedously expensive), then it broke and i had a crown (built on top of tooth) which cost 475, crown came off and what is left of my tooth has now (or rather Friday) cracked and so will be removed.

I loathe dentists too, am having valium to get me through it all!!
