    Update:
Just checked the app, I now have a Select Access Saver & Online Saver showing up which is nice but NO REGULAR SAVER, crazy seeing as I applied for that before these.

Maybe I just got to wait a little bit longer for Regular Saver to show up?

Just spoke to a woman at CO Op Bank, it seems she can't seem to find any record of my Regular Saver application despite me having email confirmation.

So could still be unprocessed or lost or I dunno.

She actually advised me to apply again assuring me should another show up it wouldn't cause any problems on either side as 1 would just be cancelled.

All the woman could see on her side was info in regards to the accounts showing up on my app so my current account & select access Saver & online Saver.

She found it odd that I applied for Regular Saver before the other two and got accepted for them but also admitted there's a lot of people wanting the regular Saver.

Been on the phone yet again to co op bank, guy I talked to was like he can see an application was worked on on x date, I'm like is it the regular Saver, said he was going to check, I'm like I thought that's what you already did, this whole time I've asked you about regular Saver and nothing else, then the guy ended the call.

Anyone got any tips for dealing with CO OP Bank because I'm losing my sanity trying to deal with them.

Now on another call following them hanging up

Following the latest call the guy I spoke with seems to think I've got the regular Saver & should start to see a confirmation email and account showing up in app in the next few days, here's hoping

CO OP still causing me headaches, rang up this morning, woman said work was done on the account yesterday (Monday) , I was like when will I get confirmation email & when will it show in app?, she was like I don't want to give you date, then settled on a 5 day time period, I'm like a week then🙄, I was also like I rang up Sunday and was told I should have had an email by now.

It seems to me the more and more I talk to CO OP the more I think they really don't have a clue how to do banking.

This Regular Saver has been the most frustrating to setup etc.

Most have been instant, even my most recent YBS one I got I can now deposit after a short amount of time where they do that pending further checks thing.

28 Feb Co Op acknowledged by email my OH's application... still no RS account. Secure messages on the subject & their subsequent replies have disappeared??

CO Op Bank don't seem to know how to do anything to be honest.

    Phone X
    X/Twitter X
    Email Updates X

Only thing they've managed to do is send me a card & pin.

But what gets me is when they sent me the acknowledgement for my current account application by post they also sent a booklet on how to make the most of my current account, like !!!!!!?

......... like who the hell knows the date when they opened one of their bank accounts other than Experian? (who set CO Op Bank security questions) , I have multiple bank accounts I don't keep a record of every single 1 opened etc, jeez.

If there is a next time anyone asks you when you opened an account: just look it up in Experian, They have a complete list of your open and closed current accounts with an Account Started date. Free access to your Experian report via the MSE Credit Club
The MSE Credit Club no longer uses Experian
