I think I need a few more reminders ha. But yes I’m trying to be a bit more present than I have been lately. I’m not averse to working a few extra hours when needed but to be constantly on the wheel isn’t a path I’m prepared to tread any longer

Payday as been and I have managed to sort all pots out pretty quickly. This is the first month that I had everything all setup to go out automatically, and all went quite smoothly. A few tweaks required as I somehow have direct debits that leave my account on the 30th so need to change those. I have topped up all savings pots and will drip feed some of the investment accounts through the month. The one major expense this month is our dining table, we've finally bit the bullet and ordered this as it was on sale. It is something we've needed for so long so and one we really like so would rather get it whilst we have the funds. It is taking some getting used to letting go of some of the funds and spending but it needs to be a balance.

This weekend has been really lovely, and somehow I kinda feel a little like my old self (probably briefly). Yesterday we had breakfast out and then and watched spiderman…which I loved..daughter also really enjoyed it. We are going to watch all the marvel at some point.

I had a pretty good week overall at work last week and seem to have caught up in a lot of areas, just need to keep making progress with this.

Rest of today will be a pretty relaxed evening, but yeah its been a nice weekend and somehow has kind of given me a bit of a boost.

Monday didn't Monday too bad today. It felt like a productive day, although afternoon slump hit. All the direct debits have left the accounts and weekly food shopping and petrol have been sorted too.

I've committed to myself to try get my fitness and overall health in shape. I decided that I would spend my lunch break just having a wander round near a local field at work just to get some fresh air but also so decent steps. I need to keep up with this but also start getting back into a gym routine.

Hope Monday was okay for everyone.

Work today didn't feel as productive, I was up early but due to an overnight accident ended stuck in traffic for over an hour which is always a fun start to the day. Luckily no one was hurt it seems so that is a relief, I always try not get to annoyed about traffic jams, but we are only human I guess. Also not feeling 100 % today so really hoping not coming down with a bug.

Transfer Tuesday

£50 into the ISA account. I am not transferring as much this month as we do have a few planned days out that might take up some funds but I am keen to keep the transfer Tuesday ticking over coz it really is helping me be accountable and thinking where the money goes. Balance showing at £327.00.

Finally Friday 🍻, this week has progressively nose dived but we made it. Work has been rough, also not felt 100 percent healthy this week but I did manage the gym this morning for the first time in over 12 months so that is a win. Finances ticking over well, and new table arrives today
