No direct debits neededBazzalona13295 said:Apologies for asking but my phone is playing up and it cannot load/see stuff properly.
Am I right in thinking that :
We don't need direct debits
Having a Nat West current account does not exclude me from RBS as I have never switched to them?
Many thanks
Having one account with the group does not exclude you from the others1 -
I did this switch back in September 2023 for NW and RBS. Think I can do it again?0

Probably not, but never really hurts to try if you've got spare donor accounts lying around.azualbet said:I did this switch back in September 2023 for NW and RBS. Think I can do it again?1 -
So, I've already got a joint NatWest account since 2016...
Am I still eligible for the RBS offer as a new sole account holder? I've never had an account with RBS.0 -
That is what the offer states - not eligible if you took advantage of a switching offer since 1/1/2020SickGroove said:So, I've already got a joint NatWest account since 2016...
Am I still eligible for the RBS offer as a new sole account holder? I've never had an account with RBS.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Could I then also take out a sole NatWest account & get that offer too?Nasqueron said:

So benefitting from both RBS & NatWest offers?0 -
Did they ask you to upload an ID for the Natwest account?0

Sole/joint doesn't matter - taking advantage any switch incentive from NatWest, RBS or Ulster since 2020 will disqualify you from both the current NatWest and RBS offers under the terms of this offer.SickGroove said:

That said, it's a completely different story in my view if they fail to enforce their own T&Cs. Plenty of people managed to get incentives the last few times they've run these offers when they shouldn't technically have been eligible. Could try your luck and see what happens.1 -
The First Direct bribe last year was similar. A £1000 deposit IIRC.PRAISETHESUN said:
I was also going to comment on this as this is the first time I've seen something like this for a switch offer. Either way at least it's spelt out clearlychangearound1 said:Worth noting this sneaky little clause in the T&Cs:'For a payment to be counted towards the £1,250, the funds must remain in the account for a period of 24 hours.'
And I wouldn' t say it's a sneaky clause either - it's big & bold on the front page, not buried in the small print.3
