NatWest have now launched a £200 switching offer today. See:

EDIT:
RBS have also launched a £200 switching offer. See:

Apologies for asking but my phone is playing up and it cannot load/see stuff properly.
Am I right in thinking that :
We don't need direct debits
Having a Nat West current account does not exclude me from RBS as I have never switched to them?
Many thanks0 -

Edit, I should of typed non Nat West Group1 -
Last received a NatWest switching bonus in 2018. But I have received RBS and Ulster bonuses since 2020. Will give it a shot anyway as got some burner accounts to cull anyway.0

I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the terms to stop an Ulster Bank or RBS account from being switched in to Natwest for the bonus either - all it defines is 'non-Natwest current account'. To be extra safe you could switch to RBS instead, who only state 'non-RBS current account', as you could potentially argue Ulster Bank accounts are Natwest [Group], but definitely not RBS (since RBS Group is no longer a thing).FWIW I probably would avoid switching Natwest Group accounts between one another, just on the off chance they use it to link records together and enforce the (rarely/never enforced) group-wide blockout.

I think it's worth an attempt with a switch - I haven't taken advantage of a switcher offer since 1/1/2020 - I did it in 2019 - that they paid the bonus in 2020 isn't specifically ruled out in the terms or indeed made clear - I guess it comes down to how they define "taken advantage" - worst case I have to do it as a complaint to the bank and/or FOS and see because to my view, as it doesn't say "bonus paid since 1/1/2020" for example it's not clear enough
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

OH and I had the triple last year and it was the easiest and pain free account switch yielding £1200. Ulster did take a bit longer but they all paid (worth looking up the advice in the old thread about the Ulster branches to use in the application etc.). Would love to repeat but guess that's me out of the game for a few years.
Good luck to all those eligible!1 -
I have just done this but did not receive any email confirmation that I have sub other switch application. Did anybody else get a confirmation email?0

So I am thinking 2 options.1. Could I cancel the Natwest switch and start again with a new additional chase account? Or2. Before it switches, could i add another Chase account to use for Lloyds (and get the DDs set up)? Or do they view it as the Main Chase account, from which i wouldnt be able to hold additional?Sorry, so many questions, but i want to take advantage of both.1
