Morning all
Round I did lie in, but I have scrubbed the bath and tiles while I was in the shower then went to my short Saturday volunteering stint which was nice.
The weather is lovely here, almost Spring like. I am waiting to find out what train DS is getting as he is coming home to go out with us tonight. The nearest train station is 10 miles away and he will need picking up.
I need washing powder and can only get Li@l own or stupidly expensive stuff in the little Co-op so will pick some up when we get DS.
Might have to investigate what the laundry basket looks like, and I need feeding.
Catch you all later x7 -
Me again. Hope the flinging progresses well Piggers and enjoy your 'No events' day Iona.
MISS Round - my fav breakfast is plain granola to which I add a scoop of fresh fruit salad, a teaspoon of flaxseed, a handful of mixed nuts and two tablespoons of yogurt to mix it all up. I've been having soft stuff like weetabix and croissants.
Since my last post I have had a very long soak in the bath while DH did some DIY. I've now cleaned up the dust as agreed but have a stable hand rail and a lovely new blind.
Dog walk now.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Thank you Jazee. Curiosity satisfied. It sounds very healthy.
First load has had an extra spin and is now on the airer. Second load is swishing.
Bowl of pots soaking....and that is entirely due to the power of the Flylady fairy whispering 'Do it'. I'll be glad when it's done, I do like a clear sink area.

Morning all,
My list for today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Deal with Mr T delivery
Submit shopping information to the scanning company
Take/Collect DS from drama group
Take/Collect DS & DD from PC
Go for a walk (if it stays dry outside, currently sunny)
Do required uni work
Tidy up the kitchen, wash up dishes, dry and put away
Do more decorating work in the bedroom
Make a start on paperwork for part-time job application.
Think that is everything that I need to tackle today. Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday.

In the last hour or so I have walked Poppet, put a wash on and cut down the raspberry canes that I didn't quite finish before winter. I'm not sure how that will affect my crop this year but it looks tidier and the snowdrops are stunning.
Just making sausage sandwiches for lunch - so not so healthy - then I plan to spend the afternoon knitting and the evening watching telly.Spend less now, work less later.6 -

three of the four doors done, bottom left has a slight curve, that was the one i did first to see if i could. Once the bedroom doors are replaced it will look less odd. I also plan to do the skirtings and door frames. You can just see the new bedroom carpet too. I will tweak the hinges/how the doors hang when they are all done, though i suspect the curve will mean a slight ‘out of kilter’ look going forward. I now need a dry and not bitterly cold day to finish the last one, given i’m sanding outside.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
