Another day going out on the rounds with Mr F. I managed S&S x2, WMx1, WUDUPA, half a general tidy before we went, and have done Iron, TDx1, FUPA since coming home. Also cleared out old car, and have arranged to look at possible replacement tomorrow, though its 60 miles away!
I'm not used to not doing my flying more slowly during the day, and not having to skip any deeper clean chores.

A particularly quiet day today.
Swished and swiped the kitchen, folded up some washing that had been drying on the maiden.
Changed the throw on the settee and put the dirty one in the washing machine - now outside on the line. It can stay there overnight as the weather is set fair.
Cleaned out the wood burner as the ash pan was rather full and swept the hearth afterwards.
Cooked dinner from scratch - lemon chicken with carrots, beans and roast potatoes and it was really quite lovely.
Off to do the washing/tidying up now and then bed.
Hope you all have a peaceful and restorative night xxx

Good morning my lovelies xx
Are you all having a lie in? I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, supped a brew, taken my meds, completed Wordle and Connections and pondered on life. As you do. Occasionally.
Plans for today are not formulated yet, but will include laundry and pots. And starting a new book.
Brew 2 first though. Then I'll get dressed and come back with a Round.
Love to all

Morning Round, morning all.
Yes I did lie in. Been up almost an hour now. Just on second cuppa with my favourite breakfast which I can now eat again as my tooth is fixed. I have watered indoor plants, topped up vases and ironed one pair of trousers.
I can do as I please today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -

Another That Was The Week That Was, here. And a long one to boot. I felt out of sorts yesterday evening - nothing concrete, just unsettled. So then I was kicking myself about having wasted my home alone Friday evening, and even more for having seen off half a packet of shortie biscuits and a Christmas chocolate. I am my own worst enemy when I’m in that mood.
I’m frustrated at myself for always playing weekend catch up on the flying front. I find it hard to do much beyond cooking dinner and clearing the kitchen afterwards in the week, so any tips gladly welcomed. You would think that after all these years that I would have cracked this flying lark.
So today, the sort of plan is:
hang up washing - wm has just finished
make the promised dessert for a gathering that we are going to this evening
clean the bathroom, and bedroom & bathroom floors
vacuum downstairs
Other jobs that are on the list include booking a delivery slot for next week, sorting out paperwork & budget now that January has happened, make soup out of lurking veg and veg stalks, other jobs which I can’t now remember 🙇♀️.
Have a lovely day all. Damp and murky here, so more suited to reading my books…still got 3 on the go.

Morning!
Still in bed, but my plan is to get plenty done before the afternoon is taken up by the car hunt! Motivation is a bit low after a long week and because I'm not eating and drinking well. This needs to become a priority.Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

For a change, our joint diary says only "No Events" and I shall make the best of itI have already sorted a pile of ancestors and intend to devote most of the rest of the morning to them. Unfortunately rain is due here between 2 and 4, so I shall have to take Rosie for her walk before lunch. That in turn means that I am likely to fall asleep for the rest of the afternoon (atm my eyes are constantly sore, and that is the best way to relieve it - that's my excuse, anyway
)
Having rung the optician at 10.00 on Thursday to ask him to refer me, at 10.00 yesterday I received a letter from the hospital inviting me to my initial consultation with a consultant on Monday 19th February. That is impressively quick
Better go and haver my shower before it gets to 10.00. There's obviously something good about that time of day!
Hope everyone has a good one xxx5 -
yep…lying in going on here, too.
WmM and DW x 1. Sis came round…we had a chat, she said she had been trying to not overburden me whilst I was being treated.
DD went to see DS so i went too then I could go to Bee and cue with a complaint (close to DS’s flat) then we had fish and chips. And dandelion and burdock. I'm back.😊
While the kettle boiled for Brew 2 I knotted the bin bags in LR and kitchen, placed bags by the back door, and put new bin bags in situ. Brew 2 supped and started a new book.
I'm dressed, sploshed bleach down the loo, sorted washing into loads, set first load swishing, put out the rubbish and recycling, and fed the birds. Feeling hungry now so time for breakfast. Jazee - I'm nosy. What's your favourite breakfast?
Valli - glad to hear you've had a chat with your sister. And I'm enjoying reading about your mega door painting task. I'm assuming we'll get an 'after' photo when you're done. Please.
Fayolle - I'm not a madam, I'm a miss 😉 Not that I'm being a pedant or anything 🤣
iona - enjoy your rare No Events day. 😘
Love to all. I feel the need for porridge 😋
