    i too struggle with constipation, drives me mad, only cure i've found is saving a heb, and having a bowl of 42g crunchy bran with a banana on top for supper. lol.
  • thanks I am pleased its not just me! I think I am going to have to get some tablets - anyone used Senokot? The last tablets Duco something or other killed me, I had terrible stomach pains!

    I was going to say that's zit cream, no wonder. :eek: But then I had a look at my son's stuff and it's Duac. :D

    I'm still on a high after beginning SW on Monday. I'm wondering when it wears off. I'm still like the back end of a bus, but i'm all excited lol

    senocot are great, but only take 1 and don't take if you have ibs as it can inflame it.

    your father in law should try eating gluten free products,i.e.bread and pastry,.he can still enjoy his pies.most supermarkets sell a good range of FREE FROM products.My m.i.l.sufferd from ibs until she tried g.free foods.:shocked:

    for ibs i find i have to avoid fresh orange juice, and all citrusy things, don't know if that'll help any,

    peachyest - my OH's got IBS and its his father who likes his frozen food - no IBS(convinience aas he's on his own probably!). Thanks though. My OH (or I) don't eat a lot of pastry stuff as we're both on SW!

    Yes my OH has noticed this! Possibly tomato's too though the Dr thinks other medication he's on might be causing it!

    glad its not just me with citrusy things, my gp said it wouldn't be that, but i can definatley tell.
  • I'm gutted, just weighed in at work (we get SW come in every Wednesday) and stayed the same.... I have been so good too...........

    16011996 - soup is fine when blended down, it's just the sugars in fruit that is the problem when juiced/blended!

    My fave at the mo is butternut squash and celeriac soup - beautiful!!
    It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice
