SIGH
Had my weigh in tonight 4LBs on. I know I have not been good in the last couple of weeks...In fact thats a slight understatement!
I have not been to group for three weeks due to OH work commitments. ITs just not fun taking three very tired and grumpy kids to group.
So after discovering this thread yesterday and todays disapointment I am feeling inspired and back on track. One day at a time I think needs to be my moto from now on in.
Going to go read the new mag and hope for inspiration for tomorrows menus.
Peachy will phone up Tesco, don't know what an Arena Tesco is though. I take it that is a very big one. Well even in Aberdeen I don't think it is called that so there is no chance out here, I live in the sticks but if Tesco sell it somewhere then there is no reason for them not to stock it so will speak to the manager. Yum. Thanks for your help. I could buy it direct from Frylight but they do charge a bit more due to postage etc.0 -
miss-phish... count me in for the 10 min a day thing !!! i went for an hours walk along the beach yesterday and had my lunch there and im about to head off there again now !!!! if ve finished work this morning, come home and made myself a salad with a boiled egg, some seafood sticks and i had a peice of steak leftover from yesterday so i have cut it into tiny strips and put on top of the salad... lol.. by the time ive walked to the beach it will all be a messy mixture !!!!!

Hi Everyone
I am new to Slimming World and this board - glad i have found it, I think I need lots of support!
I started the diet on sat (my class is Friday) and soo far I have found it easy(maybe too easy) I am struggling with food to eat on red and so have been having mainly green days but feel soo bloated after eating rice/pasta and jacket potatoes - not that I am complaining - well soo long as I loose weight.
My friend did the diet years ago and when I showed her my books she was taken aback as to what we can eat (think she was talking about the HeB - only 1 in her day) She did say she struggled to loose weight on green days as she too felt overloaded with carbs and stuck mainly to Red - does anyone else feel like this or have I been brainwashed with all the media about Atkins etc.
I have been using the online site and putting in my daily food and i dont think I am eating enough - I am only eating when I am hungry and eating til I am full. However when I am looking at the food I am eating it doesnt look enough. I am eating lots of vegetables and using my He A and B but I do seem to be eating a lot of yogurts - I dont drink milk so I am conscious to eat enough dairy.
So what I am really asking (apologies if u have all nodded off!) is should i be eating for the sake of it in order to eat enough to loose weight?
Thanks

I was told they don't do classes Friday to Sunday! I must check the website again as I'd love a class on a Friday! (Means you can relax a little and enjoy a glass or two whereas for a Tuesday you have to be good all weekend!)0

Argh... I can't go to class on Thurs (my 2nd week) as OH has a funeral to go to and will be out for the wake afterwards and I can't find anyone else to have DD (2). Will go to the earlier weigh in at 5.30 but won't stay as won't be able to take anything in with DD running riot!!
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions/help - really appreciate it."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

morning , amie , i wish that was me walking on that beach, lucky you . angela have you tryed the salad i put on yesterday (its fab) and you can have it on red /green days , Fluffy try to drink more water , when i have a cup of tea i have a glass of water next or at the moment ive been having hot water with lemon &sweetner . Have you been using your syns for treats , have you got the big food directory from class ? if not buy one it has everything in the shops in it , and also it gos by the shops to (tesco, asda ,ect) . go through the directory and mark down what low syn meals or treats you can get and when you get them home put the syns on them straight away , if you stick to yoghurts your get sick of them , mix it up by having a packet of frenchfrys 4 1/2 syns , if you do have a low syn ready made meal put lots of free veg or salad with it . Hope this helps :cheesy:0

according to our consultant the new directories and free food books are due out by end of feb, so if your new to class might be worth hanging on to get the latest updated one, thats what i'm doing.

just had a search on site, yep they do fridays and you can even search for classes on a saturday, unfortunalty nearest friday to me is over 40 miles away, and saturday is even further away, so might stick to my thursday night class.0
