I've been to *gag* the jobcentre *gag* .. being forced to change from TC to UC (utterly pointless paperwork tbh)... You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy... Someone came in with some honking perfume which set my chest wheezing and my face itching.. my lips are now a little swollen.. I woke up with the beginnings of a cold so I am a bit of a mess. Just popped home for a cuppa before having to go get the girls from dance.
Squeak has gone to musical theatre WITHOUT HER WALKING STICK!!! This is massive.. she has a functional neurological disorder and does struggle to walk.. and this is the first time she left it at home since July!! It is a good day.
I ate snot drugs and an apple..
Swimming bag sorted.. I need to order new goggles for Twinkle.. the lens keeps falling out of her.. but they are 8 years old and wer £4 so I think we got out money's worth!
I will take my mittens I am knitting to swimming.. I want to start a few cardies for Toebean.
Mr Spook has gone out for the first time in 2 weeks.. he had an immense abcess on his head which looked like an eyeball had fallen out it was awful but it is now healed enough he can be released into the wild.. and I have opened the window for the hairy loons so they are in and out of their pen.. and my house smells less!! The cat trays need dealing with.
I need to clear the airers, dangle some washing and get some more in.. they have no clean school clothes because they are all dirty on their bedroom floor.. but it is not my job to pick them up surely! I am not staff.
DW to go on probably twice.. and TD's to empty.
I feel so grotty! I might see if I can find my sudafed snot spray.. that might help.

Having a lovely Kaffeeklatsch with Iona and Round. It’s amazing what a bit of procrastination can achieve. Whilst avoiding cleaning the car, I have sorted out the fridge, cleaned the kitchen including the hob, s&s bathrooms, boiled some eggs for lunch, vacuumed the DR, cleaned the LR windows (wall to wall French windows, not to be underestimated). I hate washing my car that much 🤣. Pfeffernusse with Kaffee anyone - Christmas leftovers!7

Car has broken down. It's an essential for work (Mr Flamingo is a delivery driver), if we don't have the car he won't get paid, as well as needing to pay for the car itself, and we're also in the long wait for TC to UC switch over. Feeling very low about this.
To do: try to cope with the anxiety spike this is causing, get clothes on the line, FUPA, make lunches, floorsMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

been to meet my friend and we’ve had a walk. On the way we popped into a furniture shop as she saw a nice sofa in the window…so it might turn out to have been a very productive walk. And we chatted all the time and i could walk AND talk.
need to go to arg0s to get a new charger for my vacuum battery. I hate that shop…slight advantage though it’s now inside Mr S so i can have a mooch.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Well done Squeak!! Oh mittens, Piggers, I love mittens. I haven't owned a pair since I was around 20 but I just adore them. Pics please!
Upstairs hoovered (I did it in the end), fire roaring, everyone fed. WM on with "cheat" bedding change - i.e. pillow cases and fitted sheets!
Fayolle thanks honey. The money I earn as extra, I am using for the Toots jobs that are getting me down. What I earn today will pay for the new track and alteration for the roman blind going up the stairs. That window has been bald since we moved here and annoys me each time I go up and down the stairs! The lady has done the work and is bringing it back today, so it will be nice timing that it can go up and I can pay her in one go9 -
First load had an extra spin and is now on the airer. Second load is swishing. Coffee sort of morphed into lunch. Eggs (from NN chickens) on toast.
I've finished my book so it can go in the cs pile and I'll take the next book from my TBR pile.
The Day After Tomorrow is one of my favourite films too Narc0. Not sure how many times I've watched it. Ditto: Deep Impact and Dante's Peak. Last night I watched K19 - The Widowmaker. That was an excellent film...even though a grim one. I like The Martian too.
I may WUDUPA this afternoon. I may read. I haven't decided yet
