Morning all,
Better sleep and a lazy morning ahead. I have been offered some hours in a pub that a friend owns later today and, as the kids will be with their dad and I need the money, I am doing it. It's a one-off for now, but I have said he can always call on me if stuck.
@ionafan I also have a PM collection! Very small so far and I add to it whenever I see bits in the CS. I would love for all of my crockery to be PM one day xx
@Narc0lepsy that is one of my favourite films too! I might watch it tonight when I get back. xx
Flying wise, there is dry laundry to FUPA, and I need to light the fire. Upstairs STILL needs hoovering - I am delegating that to DS. I also have two letters to write.
Have fab days all xx9 -
Morning all, I won't be posting lists this weekend as most of my time will be taken up with paid stuff, therefore, unfortunately, I won't get anything else ticked off my list. I will try to get some uni reading done when I do have spare time.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. I will start my daily posts again on Monday.9 -
Hallooooo xx
How is everyone this morning? I was up before 7 but I've done nothing except make my bed, sup a brew, read some of my book, fail at Connections (2/4), not be able to get on Wordle, and hmmm 🤔 take my meds.
Nearly half nine and still not dressed. Ready for a second brew now though.
I brought down the laundry hamper so I do intend to fly at some point.
Brew 2 and food first though.
Have a superdeduper day ❤

Felt better this week so actually got some decluttering and cleaning done.
New front door being fitted today and as the current one was here when we bought the house in 2002 it's done well I'd say. Chose one with less fiddly bits on it so might be easier to keep clean 😂10 -
morning all
done my vertical half hour but i have hunkered back down as it’s a bit cold still, waiting for the heating. Smashed wordle and connections today…good job neither of them. are time-limited though.
DW x 1, WM x 3 so i shall peg it out.
Meeting s friend for a stroll later as she too has stamina issues.
Last night i returned to knitting project 1, I’m following tge pattern by eye now, Irish Moss Stitch. I need to get project 2 completed though, a baby cardi but it’s a new pattern and i’m challenged by it. Once i’m a few rows in it will be easier as i won’t have to keep counting.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear10 -
Morning all. Hope you're all well today.
This morning I have done dailies, walked the dog, hoovered through and got toys out ready for DGD1 arriving for the day soon.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Morning all,
Another slow starter here (looking at Round here, my partner in crime 👋). I have a list after a week of spectacularly managing to avoid flying. Actually, it is last week’s list which was barely touched, but recycle, re-use and all that. I have added Wash Cars to the list, my most hated job in the whole wide world, but thanks to the weather and the perils of country roads, they are filthy beyond belief. Maybe tomorrow…why leap into action when I can procrastinate?
ASB, I hear you, but please think of yourself too. You need some R&R time built in too xx
Iona, I am in awe - how do you do it?
Ok, I am going to get a wiggle on, if I really must. After all, I can have a coffee break in half an hour, can’t I?
Have a good day all x9 -

Have you had your coffee yet, or will you join me at 11.00? Anybody else care to come to the Kaffeeklatsch? (That's German for 'coffee gossip'. We might describe it as 'knit and natter' - two birds, and all that- but the knitting is optional.
Just time to get my shower first, now that some more ancestors *and* descendants have been filed away9 -
Me again 🙂
I had another brew and breakfast. Emptied the crumbs from the bottom of the cereal bag on to the seed waiting to go out for the birds. Dressed. Sorted the washing into loads. Set the first load swishing. Fed the birds. Put out the rubbish and recycling. Put new bin bags in emptied LR and kitchen bins. And read more of my book. Still can't get on to Wordle.
iona and Fayolle - stop whatever you've started doing and join me for a coffee? (Hehe. A bad influence? Me? It has been said before 🤣)

Round, I am sitting here drinking coffee
Rosie is asleep under the piano stool. DH is painting wargames figures in his man cave (he emerged to make the coffee
). And another packet of ancestral papers has been filed
