I got my ESA review sorted in May and posted about it upthread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80813673/#Comment_80813673
Had I not contacted CHDA I think I may also have still been waiting for an outcome.

I was also December (Christmas Day the forms were due back) but also haven’t heard a thing since. Am still receiving my payments but haven’t had a correspondence from them and have no idea how long the delay will be? Not great for anxiety.

You could always phone the assessment people and ask for an update? It won't make anything be sorted quicker but you could perhaps get an idea of where you are in the queue.

There is a backlog though 9+ months is a long time. It's possible it has already been dealt with and your award has not changed with you remaining in the same group (WRAG / Support). Perhaps give the assessment provider a call in the morning and ask if they still have your file? If it has been returned to the DWP you could ask them when it was returned. If it was a returned a while ago then you will have to phone the DWP to find out what the outcome was. The DWP are supposed to notify you of the outcome of a WCA but they don't always do so when there is no change to the award.

The letters you received from them look virtually the same, but you will see ( we have looked at your claim) and that is sometimes all you will see. There are other ways to get report outcomes to which you are entitled. But many haven't been assessed in seven years and don't really know if they will be again. But currently, they don't have the staffing levels to catch up, but that is being sorted via new contracts for various companies to deal with.
  • I sent my Esa review form back in Jan , load of evidence.  Still haven't heard anything back. Not sure what to do. Anxious about phoning incase make it worse.

If they're still paying you I wouldn't waste your time. Deal with it when they get around to it. You can always get good advice on here.
  • What I'm concerned about, is getting the migration letter to change to UC,  when at present I'm in the Limited capacity for work, but with my health problems which I have put in the Esa 50 form, I be forced to work. I have a chronic illness due to my previous part time job, which effects my lungd and a genetic condition which effects my joints. Autism. Fatigue.  I am wondering if they  will put me in the support group. But having to wait for them to look at it, is causing me anxiety.  Are they still going through the income related esa forms ?
