Yes: it works! Registered keepers cannot lose as long as the driver isn't identified. This has always been the case and is nothing new.

  • Quick question, do the same rules apply if you overstay the "Maximum time limit?
This is in reference to the T@ Manchester Airport pick-up zone.
    Thanks

Are there any reports of APCOA changing their appeal process?

I received a letter from them and when i enter the details online to appeal, i only get 2 options: Pay & Enter liable party details.

Note: This was transferred to me by my car hire company

You will have to use their complaints policy to send in your dispute instead.

I think their system has taken the transfer of liability as if it was an appeal and that's wrong. Tell them that to explain why you are having to use the complaints 'door' because their website has a fault and has wrongly presumed a transfer of liability is an appeal. It wasn't. But this is.

Then conclude the complaint by using the Edna Basher version in the NEWBIES thread and of course, no saying who was driving.

I say you should use that version as it's a hire car. You can only appeal if you have received the Notice to Hirer addressed to you. Have you got that?
