For anyone who hasn't been paid out but have met the criteria. I had an email saying I still needed to deposit £1000. Ignored at first but then gave in and made another deposit. Within a couple of hours I received an email and the £100 was in my account.
CheersDid you make the 1st £1k before or after your switch completed?Sucks to hear, but I guess in the scheme of things it's easy enough to make a 2nd deposit0 -

Some retailers don't need the Visa secure thing to be set up to use the card online. I managed to make payments to Oxtopus and Amazon without needing to call Co-Op to set it up.

It was just after the switch completion.PRAISETHESUN said:sheffieldeagle said:Hi

The email just referred to the £1000 deposit. I think I was too quick off the mark when the switch had completed.

My 1000 pounds was transferred as part of the switch and no email as yet prompting any further action on my part. However may transfer again in a weeks time if necessary0

I made a small contactless payment in Morrisons without registering for Visa Secure.PRAISETHESUN said:dabe1971 said:Any online way around the damn Visa Secure password registration ? Don't really want to be stuck on the phone waiting for a call centre.

The overly sensitive fraud system is getting on my nerves. I'm trying to send £75 to myself, to an account I've already used and confirmed once. And they send me the email to call them... but they're shut. Irritating.
I can't wait to dump this account for the next viable switch, although I think I've done all the main banks except Barclays

Hi everyone. Our two lloyds accounts have now switched to co-op. Couple of questions if I may as I'm unclear on a few issues:-
1. Standing orders - I've never done these before, so am I setting up two standing orders on Co-op for money to come out of my other bank accounts or is it the other way round, i.e. setting up standing order in other bank accounts for money to come out of my Co-op account? Which way round is it please?
2. For the £1000 deposit, am I okay to transfer £500, then withdraw it and then re-transfer another £500 into the account?
3. For the 5 card transactions, am I okay to buy £1 x 5 amazon gift card top-ups?
Thanks so much for your help.0 -
1. The SOs would need to be paid out of your Co-op account with money being paid into a different accountworriednoob said:Hi everyone. Our two lloyds accounts have now switched to co-op. Couple of questions if I may as I'm unclear on a few issues:-

2. You can make the £1k deposit by bouncing £500 through the account twice if you wished
3. Yes you could do buy 5x £1 Amazon gift cards if you wished, this would satisfy the 5 debit card transactions.1 -
Thanks ever so much Bridlington - that answers all my questions. Sorry if this is a silly question, but where is the option in the Co-op App or Website for me to setup a standing order? All I can see is Pay/Transfer.Bridlington1 said:

Also regarding the 5 card transactions - I've read on here that some are getting blocked and people have to call the fraud/call centre. How do I get around this issue when buying 5 x £1 Amazon gift cards?0
