Co Op Switch offer (seen 15th January 2024)

My wife got a response to her secure message (asking the bank to confirm she had met the terms for the switch offer) yesterday afternoon, however all it did was quote the T&C's🙄...so another message sent politely asking them to do what was requested the first time.
The fact that the response was late Sunday afternoon makes me wonder if it was a Bot responding rather than a human, either way it was from "Emily".0 -

That would also explain why £1k transferred in as part of the switch didn't appear to "count" for me.
Thanks

So, I’m a serial switcher. I have a ‘donor’ account set up with x2 direct debits and move it around as and when new banks offer up switching incentives. Which I’ve mostly used up now (been doing it approx 5 years).
I was glad to see the Co-Op offer appear. So I applied for a new account 15/01, and gave details of the donor account to get switched.
At the end of the application I was surprised to see my estimated switch date (I wish I’d screengrabbed it) give as some date in early February.
Thought nothing more of it, and went about sorting the account with the rest of the incentive requirement, I.e paid in money, made over 5 debit card purchases, set up online banking etc. I’m quite familiar with how to satisfy the bonus. It’s now quite far past my best guess at when the switch date was, and my balance of the donor account is still sat with the original bank, so something is wrong.
Ive called up the Co-Op today (which takes approx 1 hour on hold), and the guy looked at my account and says he can’t see any request for a switch against my account.
all quite frustrating.
so I’ll also have a little moan that after I paid in my £1k. When I tried to move it back into the account I actually need that money in. It didn’t move! I had to call up the co-op (another 1 hour on hold) just to be able to release my fund back into an account of mine.
ive switched many many times, and this one has been by far the least simple. And I’ve no idea now if I’ll actually be able to earn the bonus by the end of it all.0 -
As you were given a switch date, you should get the payment,. Did the donor account close as part of the switch?
Lots on here about the £1000 pay in being required twice to trigger the pay-out.0 -

What about payments in on the actual date of their letter confirming switch complete. For example my switch confirmation letter was dated 12 Feb and I paid in several amounts on that day totalling £795. I have today made 2 payments totalling £300. So should this cover it?
Thanks.

The £100 being paid so quickly after a person has paid the full £1k amount in makes me think the process is automated and not set up properly.1 -
