Can you just buy 20 Amazon tops ups gift vouchers?
Looks like anyone who did the previous 2 switch offers are excluded.0 -
Argh the 'two direct debit' rule created by Halifax Marketing and then becoming the 'de rigueur' for any further banking relationship used by account switching teams that spend their working lives paying out funds (good work if you can get it).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam1

If you’ve received an incentive or benefit for switching to TSB Bank plc using the Current Account Switch Service since 1 October 2022, you’re not eligible for this offer.

When applying, the bank switch isn't included in the initial application, it shows once the new TSB account has been generated & you then apply for the bank switch separately. Is that correct?0

After opening account make sure you make a note of account & sort code, as you need to enter them when switching.

jbrassy said:You are reading that wrong. You need to have 2 direct debits set up on your old account and they need to be included in your current account switch. If you set them up on your TSB account after the switch, you won't get the money.
If you've only just set up the direct debits on your old accounts, wait a week before you set up the switch. Are you sure about this? The Ts & Cs don't say this, and in fact imply that enabling 2 active DDs after the switch is fine, so long as they are there by the time they are checked by 15 March. Btw @HillStreetBlues linking to the Ts & Cs or the offer page on the TSB website in the OP would be much appreciated! With regards to the 20 x debit card payments, someone on reddit commented that they've been able to top up their Revolut account 20 x £10pm and that's worked fine for them - a potential alternative to the Amazon top-ups. If I try this I might try it with Starling's Settle Up feature as I imagine that should work too, and I believe the minimum for them is just £1.I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.3 -

If anyone has any further suggestions, then I'm happy to edit post accordingly

If anyone's short of direct debits for the switch there is a list of savings/investment accounts that allow you to make deposits by direct debit in this thread:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6445857/savings-investment-dds-and-debit-card-deposits-an-updated-list/p1
The thread also contains a list of savings/investment accounts that allow you to make deposits by debit card, which would enable you to satisfy the 20 debit card payments term.2 -
