Has anyone been through the situation where they took a long time to open the account so there's no physical way to do the 20 transactions for the month?

Wondering whether it's worth contacting them when I finally get access to the account. Feels a bit unfair that I miss out on one months bonus when it was out of my hands.

This has come up ever since the first Quidco offers they did - the first month begins the day you open the account, even if that's the last day of the month (and there'd be no way of getting transactions to settle in time even if they gave you card details straight away via the app, which they don't).

This is why I wait until the 1st of the month with TSB.

I mean sure I'm aware of those rules, but it's a bit late for me. I can't really go back and change it. As I said I did apply well in advance knowing those rules, I just got hit by processing issues where as others in this thread who seemingly applied at a similar time didn't. That's why I asked the question just incase someone had.

I mean it is what it is at the end of the day. Slightly sucks since I couldn't control them taking this long, but, it's only a tenner so I'm not super upset. Just figured I'd ask the question.

Edit: Apparently this deal is ending next wednesday anyway according to the MSE page? So it seems like it would have been a gamble either way lol.

If you have all the facts (i.e. the reasons for the delay) all present and counted on your side - and you feel the tenner is worth it - raise a case with TSB

I made 20x£1 individual payments from my new TSB card to Amazon on 23 Jan.  They appear in my Amazon account, but on the TSB app they just read 'pending'.   Will they still qualify me for the £10 cashback this month?

So long as they settle by Wednesday, you'll be fine. If not, they'll count for February.

How long does TSB take to track on TopCashback? I've had some issues with TCB not tracking things lately (it didn't even flash up with the usual "we've recorded your visit" type message after clicking through to TSB) and have had to submit manual claims. Not the end of the world but it takes longer, and if using the cashback guarantee with Quidco then it would help if it tracked sooner rather than later.

    Cheers

I've also had to submit a manual claim to TCB for this after waiting for a week for it to track. From previous claims it can take months to resolve and you can't claim the cashback guarantee while it's not tracking.

It's annoying when things don't track automatically, seems like my like three or four haven't tracked and I've had to claim. The £20 from TCB would be nice but a match and extra bonus of £30+ would be nicer! Just a waiting game I guess! Hope you get yours soon too!

I've just checked the terms for cashback, seems like it won't be showing/given for a while...!
