I'm in two minds whether to go for this or not. The extra money would be good, but I already have five current accounts and one joint account, and four hard searches in the last six months. I don't think I would use the new account and definitely don't need it. Don't want to take the mickey and risk having accounts closed etc. But, mortgage renewal isn't due until 2029 and I am tempted...

Not eligible for this one unfortunately... received my last TSB incentive in Nov 2022 :( At least I'm eligible for the Co-Op one though!

I agree looking at the full terms however that it doesn't look like it requires you to actually switch 2x DDs, just that 2x DDs are set up by 15 Mar 2024. As for the debit card transactions, historically I've just made 20x debit card transactions to pay off a credit card each month to meet TSB cashback incentives. I'd caution against Revolut as I've seen them take a dim view on excess debit card transactions in the past, but the other suggestions in the thread @Bridlington1 has created are a good ones

Even though I had a TSB switching payment last Feb I'm tempted to try this one. Last year I had switching payments from Ulster, RBS, First Direct and Lloyds despite not meeting their criteria!

Anyone having trouble with their app and setting up a new account? Never had a TSB account so takign their websites advice and usign the app, but it wont generate me a One-Time Passcode to move to the next step. Maybe some tech issues to will try tomorrow, jsut wondering if anyone else has had the same.
  • Same here. Taking an age. Think they've used on their monthly text allowance!
  • I've just opened mine through Quidco with an offer of £30 cashback, which tracked straight away.  Switching and ditching Barclays.  Never really got on with their app which was constantly glitchy.

Exactly the same as me when I opened the the account then, subsequently, completed the form to start the switching process. Confirmation email from Quidco of £30 cashback within minutes of completing the application  :)

have just applied for mine, that was quite quick to apply, sort code and acc number given  straight away so have requested the switch from barclays to tsb straight off so hopefully that progresses ok (fingers crossed).

Going to give this a try even though I am not technically eligible as already had bonus in 2023. Top cashback paying £40 so worth it for that. I got the bonus from First Direct even though I had a bonus from them in the past and a one from HSBC last year.
    Cheers!!!
