Confused about the Plum option for an easy direct debit. Is the weekly saver what people are doing, £1 a week? Is that a direct debit? And can you setup two direct debits with plum to TSB, how do you do this and does it satisfy TSB requirements if it’s the same provider?
I've used Plum to satisfy one DD and the other was Moneybox. So they seem to work in a similar way although nothing has been taken out of my account yet from either. Set up only a few days ago. The Plum one annoyingly though you have to wait for (if TSB) your account activation code via post. I didn't have this so Plum needs permission to access your TSB account to set the DD up, I couldn't get access until the code arrived.
The Moneybox one was easier, you typically just need your account number and sort code etc.

Neither mine or my OH's TopCashBacks tracked and we've started claims with TCB.  His account was opened after mine, and still there's no sign of his activation code for the app.
TopCashback didn't track my activity for signing up either. TCB says it can take up to 7 days for cashback to track, but that was yesterday for me so I sent a missing cashback query and also sent a separate message about matching the Quidco offer of £30. See how that all goes...!
for tsb it does not track if you use tsb app so you need to use tsb website to open account

I've just checked the terms for cashback, seems like it won't be showing/given for a while...!

Does anyone know if it is the same terms and conditions for Quidco as topcashback? Do I need to transfer in £500 per month to qualify for this?

I did sign up through the website on the 27th January, and only just set up online banking and the app this evening. I've already submitted my missing cashback claim to TCB. But going on the TCB terms (that Tonski has re-shared above), cashback might not be paid for four months!

even though it will be paid after 4 months still it should show as pending

My switch should complete 2nd February, as of 1st February I've not had my bank activation code (via post) but card and pin came a couple of days ago.
My switch to TSB also completes today.
I was able to make 20 x £1 card payments to Amazon last month which cleared before the end of January, and have done this months already.  When do TSB pay the double cashback to my new current account, please?

T&C allow them any time before 21st of February
Got my first £5 today, waiting on the second one.

Same, was expecting the £10 cashback in one go, so hopefully the other £5 will arrive at some point this month.
  • Same. Fingers crossed. I was a little bit surprised when I saw it was only £5.

Me too, so I checked and it does state
if you meet the required number of transactions, we will double the
cashback. This will appear as two £5 payments on your transactions and may occur on different dates.

  • Update....the other £5 has just landed. :-)
