Aww pets are so cute. My two rarely go within a couple of feet of each other. Just caught up. You are coping so well I am in awe. Your comments about dropping off the clothes makes me in awe of your bravery. I had a boyfriend die when I was much younger and I didn't drop his clothes off for years. I repurposed a few of his silk shirts and wore them myself (they were huge but with a belt looked rather fun), used a couple as nightshirts, used the socks as bed-socks and left the rest where he had left them. I only finally removed them when the ex and I decided to live together. If that decision hadn't been made the clothes would probably still be hanging where he left them
You are doing so well, the year for you has been so tough. Hang in there.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thank you everyone. A positive picture. The doglet gets on well with all of the cats but she gets on particularly well with the princess.
yesterday involved huge amounts of work but then I turned the ankle of doom on the stairs. Despite doing all of the right things last night I can't actually put it flat on the floor this morning. I've sorted the bits that need sorting for the WM people and now I'm back with it raised up. Half the dining room is in the snug as I scrubbed the floor before I did my ankle, but the boys will help put it back later.Usually it's really bad day one but I should be able to get shoes on by Tuesday. Some driving committed tomorrow but that may just have to be in a taxi.Today they must put the scrap metal out to be collected later and mow the lawn. I must sit and rest my foot. I've got my brace on and ibuprofen gel. I do have elastic tubing so that I can wear shoes once I can put my foot flat. It was always going to be walking boots for the muddy field anyway.

Thank you. Not quite sure how I've made 6.5k, hopping mostly. Boys have helped a lot.
my fair lady and fifth element watched whilst standing on one leg to damp dust. Smells so much better.
patio cleared by the boys, and the scrap man turned up hurrah (nothing like mentioning some copper). WM installed first thing and has been working hard all day. Boys outfits washed and ready. Mine will be driven by if I can get shoes on - currently not.
tea and tablets and a bath and then hopefully things will be better tomorrow. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
