Glad it is panic over time. Sometimes I do not like that all and sundry seem to have my info but sometimes it is a good thing. I suspect that some of the more local systems may be more secure than some of the more national stuff.

The vet gave her the painkilling injection which is supposed to wear off after 8 hours but she is worse today than she was yesterday. She is behaving in the same way as she was when she had the Librela shot. She won’t eat and has barely drunk anything she can’t stand up at all unless she is moving, as soon as she stops her legs give way except now it’s all of her legs. She looks confused as well. I took her out this evening and she only went halfway then turned around and came back. If she doesn’t pick up by Monday I’m going to have to take her back again. I’ve given her the painkillers they gave me and she has gone to sleep now so at least she is settled.
I have also messed up my steroids which means I’ve run out 😳I have enough for tomorrow and that’s it and my surgery is closed until Monday so I don’t know what I’m going to do. I was sure I had another weeks worth but I can’t find them anywhere and I’m now wondering if I chucked them out when I last filled up the box I put them in . I had lots f empty packets from other tablets that I remember throwing in the recycling so they might have gone in there, or I didn’t have a weeks worth left and should have ordered them on Monday but forgot , either way I am stuffed now.
I went and met friends for coffee today which was lovely. I walked into town but paid for it dearly which was annoying. I then came home and cleaned the house so I don’t have to do it tomorrow as DD2 is coming to stay overnight because she wants to spend some time with B. I think we are going to treat ourselves to a takeaway and movie but I’m not sure because we do change our minds a lot 😀 we will probably just end up chatting.I’m not very happy that the weather forecast for today was totally wrong. It’s been a lovely day and I could have pegged my washing out but they forecast rain and hail so I didn’t put the washing on early enough 😡 I’ve done it now and it’s on the airer. I also changed my bed so I have lovely clean sheets to get into later. I think I might have to start leaving my bedroom window open a bit now because I got very hot last night. I keep getting night sweats which I had really badly going through the menopause but they had stopped for a long while and now seem to have come back😟
Tomorrow I am going to the Range to see if they have a decent yard brush because I don’t have one and I’m using my brush from indoors which is a bit too soft and I don’t want it to get muddy. I cleared the first set of steps yesterday so the patio and steps are now free of leaves. I might do some more tomorrow if the promised rain stays away or if not I might paint some of my bedroomI know someone who ran out of meds at the weekend and they rang 111. I didn't think they would help but a GP rang back and spoke to them and sent a prescription to the local chemist. Worth a try at least?Sorry to hear about B. Hope she improves over the weekend.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

DD2 came over last night and we didn’t have a takeaway or watch a film 😀 it was too late to eat too much food but the time she got here and I wasn’t that hungry . We sat and chatted instead for a couple of hours then it was bedtime.Today we got up and went into town for my prescription. DD can get the train in town and wanted to try some shoes on in M&S so we went there for a Quick Look but sadly they were too high for her to walk in.
I went to Boots to pick up my meds and it was right palaver. They didn’t have any record of a script then found it and this woman came over and said that the pharmacist wanted to speak to me because she wanted to know why I had steroids on a repeat prescription and how I had managed to run out. I felt like a bloomin criminal trying to get some illicit drugs 😳 I explained to her that it was two year treatment on a reducing dose and I needed enough for a week until I could go to my gp tomorrow and Order a four weeks supply she could not get her head round it and kept saying you only need it for a week so I had to explain the whole treatment thing to her before she would agree to let me have them. I can’t be the only person in my city who had PMR that is being treated with steroids . The woman on the counter said she needs to check becasue we don’t just give them out to anyone 😳 If they just looked at my previous prescriptions they would have seen that I’ve had them for the last eighteen months.
I decided to walk home because there was long wait for the bus and it was a lovely day. We had also walked into town as well so I got an hours exercise today . I got home and had a cup of tea then I went out and did some more tidying in the garden. It’s starting to look a lot better now and I can get from patio to the washing line without risking breaking my neck on slippery piles of leaves 😀
I’m not sure what doing tomorrow yet, I will either be going to The Range for my yard brush or staying at home and doing some more in the house or garden. I bought some white satin wood paint in the week so I can paint the woodwork and the doors upstairs so if it’s raining I will either make a start on that or do some more of my bedroom. I want to get the painting finished in there before the heating guys come back then once they have been I can sort out a new carpet then that will be finished.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
What a palaver! Glad you got them though.
Hope you have a good day today. It's chucking it down here."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
