I wonder if B is reacting to the painkiller? In which case it may wear off in a day or so. It must be very worrying for you.
I hope you can find a hidden packet of the steroids somewhere. Or could you get an emergency prescription? I got one when I managed to go away for a week, leaving my medication on the bed at home. The pharmacist was very helpful and contacted my GP - though as your surgery is closed they might need to find another route. I'm supposing you've checked bags and pockets, or a locker at work or any other place you might keep personal things? If they are a first thing in the morning dose, this might not apply but occasionally I have a stray tablet somewhere as mine are at odd times and I can't always be at home to take them. (I know, I'm a liability).I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

NHS 111 online does the emergency prescription service too - they get an out of hours GP to call you after you fill some details in. I think it has to be a med thats on repeat and not a controlled drug.3

Was going to suggest the 111 option, I’ve had to use it too 😫😫😫Sealed pot challenge 822

Sorry to hear about B, hope she's improving today.
I was also going to suggest 111."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

If it is a regular prescription and you use the same chemist each time, would they not give you a few day's worth and then deduct the same amount from your upcoming prescription?1

Thanks everyone I called 111 and they are sending a script to my chemist so I can pick them up . I have enough for today so will pick them up tomorrow. I’m not going anywhere today because the weather is wild, windy and wet 😀I have postponed my trip to The Range until Monday in the hope that the weather will cheer up a bit by then.B still hasn’t eaten anything and is still very wobbly. She had a bit of a poorly tummy this morning but I think that is one of the early side effects of the daily tablet she is taking and it should wear off. I ordered her some socks last night that have sticky bits on them so she doesn’t keep slipping on the wood floors as I don’t think that’s helping, I just hope she will keep them on.
We both woke up this morning at 8am took one look out the window and went back to bed. I took her bed into my room and surrounded her with puppy pads just in case and we didn’t wake up until 11.30😳 I didn’t feel too good at all ( ( Fibro not cold ) so the extra sleep was lovely. I am terrible for staying in bed until gone 10 am but B has been waking me up early all week so I’ve got into the habit of getting up at 8 and I must say I’ve enjoyed having an earlier start to my day, today was not one of those days 😀
There was something going on in our neighbourhood last night because the police helicopter was out going over my house and along the river for a couple of hours it kept me awake for agesOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202 -

I knew I would t find any knocking about because my regular meds are kept in a box in a drawer in my bedroom. I don’t take them anywhere else becasue I have one of those boxes with the days of the week on that I put all my meds in for the week and I take that to my bedroom to fill it up. I like to keep them out of the way from small curious grandchildren. I do have painkillers in my hand bag in case need them when I go out but that’s keep on a hook on the back of my bedroom door. Luckily my main meds are all once a day so I take them in the morning after breakfast then I can forget about them for the rest of the day. I think I might have thrown the last strip in the pack away by mistake because I remember when I filled them up last week I had a few empty boxes to get rid ofOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202
