You’re definitely on a roll there OBL.
I so get what you mean about leaving silly little jobs…☺️
I'm glad it's not just me😊 I am a terrible procrastinator though so I'm not surprised. I find it really annoying be don't seem to be able to change 🤷‍♀️

I'm currently looking at a small pile of stuff on the sofa. It's been there for a few days. Why don't I just tidy it up? It would take 5 minutes.

I do this all the time.  Or spend hours thinking about hoovering or something similar when just getting off my rear and doing it would have taken a few minutes.

  • Having a rubbish day today 😟I went to work but I had to give in and leave by 11 because my leg was really painful. I'm going to phone the surgery tomorrow to see if I can get an appointment ,though I don't know what they can do about it a it's been going on for ages and they haven't been able to sort it so far 😟

Sorry to hear that, @OBL. It must be so difficult having a chronic pain condition. Hope you manage to get an appointment.

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!
  • Don't know what your thoughts are on all things holistic & complimentary, but when I suffered a condition that was causing me some grief and GP couldn't do anything much to help.....apart from suggest pain killers, which were useless, I tried massage, Reiki and at one point, hypnotherapy. Can definitely vouch for them all, if you can find some good therapists in your area.

I finally did it today. <3 In fact I've a mega housework day so everything is looking much better. It's just a shame it doesn't last long. If only things stayed clean and tidy for a few months it would be great, but in no time at all everything needs doing again.

Re your leg, does your GP have one of those systems where you have to ring up at 8.00 and hope you can get through before all the appointments have gone and if they have you have to try day after day until you get lucky? If that is the case is there an urgent care centre near you that you could go to (not an A&E)? We have one near us and they have GPs there that you can go and see and you don't have to be registered - it's just a walk-in. Alternatively, are you in Benenden? If so, you can speak to a GP through them.

Thanks Foxgloves it's very frustrating. I was determined to go to work today but had to admit defeat 😟
