Pleased to read bout retirement and hopefully the financial side will settle down quickly so you know where you are.

Sorry to read about your sister’s shenanigans though. Letter seems a very sensible way to sort it out. Ridiculous expecting you and your Mum to cope in your house. It sounds like your Mum would feel trapped in the house and what happens when you are exhausted?

Thanks, I’m hoping it won’t take too long. Mum would be 200 miles away if she moved in with my sister so it would be hard to visit

It’s very frustrating and quite cheeky really to talk about it without consulting me in the first place. Relatives just don’t think sometimes do they

Thanks 😀 my mum has mentioned it a few times now but she knows my house wouldn’t be practical, hopefully my sister will take note and I haven’t just opened up a can of worms 😳

Thanks 😀 I do feel for my sister because she has to travel 200 miles each way to see mum and she also works full time so it must be a big strain on her. I do also have another sister who lives in Nottingham and she could take turns but doesn’t bother at all, she last came down for dads funeral and mum hasn’t seen her since, no one is asking her to do anything which annoys me no end

I’ve had advice from the pensions people at work about how it is organised I just need to wait for them to get back to me about payments.

My sister won’t speak to me and I’m blocked from contacting her so a letter was my only option, I just hope she doesn’t show it to my mum. Mum would definitely be trapped in my house and I’m definitely not capable of looking after her which she doesn’t seem to listen to. My friend also made good point about how would my sister be able to visit mum in the future if she was living in my house seeing as my sister won’t have anything to do with me.

My appointment at the hospital went ok, I saw a different doctor from last time so had to explain it all again. He wasn’t interested in my neck problem just the painful joints. The plan now is to taper off the steroids and basically wait and see what happens, the problem is although I have joint pain they don’t swell up so they are not sure what’s going on. They did bloods as well so it will be interesting to see if my CRP has gone up. I now have to taper the steroids by 1mg a month then they will see me in five months time, the complication is that the respiratory consultant now won’t be able to give me steroids for the lung problem until I’ve been back to rheumatology.

I treated myself to lunch in Dunelm on the way back because it’s next door to the hospital and I don't get out there very often, I did have a little wander round but I was in so much pain I just wanted to go home.

I posted the letter to my sister 😳 and I’m now hoping I’ve done the right thing 🤞 I’m hoping she will just read it and take in what I’ve said without any drama as I really can’t be bothered with it all.

Today I took B for a lovely walk along the river because this morning the sun was shining ,it was such a lovely morning. I did cheat and get the bus back because I’m still in a lot of pain so walking back wasn’t an option. We met 6 dogs while we were out and B was very friendly with all of them which was nice. We got home just in time to miss the rain too 😀
I then came home and had a 1hour lunch break before cleaning the house which it desperately needed 😀 I also got some washing done.

Tomorrow I will be able to chill out all day so it will be a day of dog walking, crafting and reading, there’s also a couple of things I’m interested in watching on Netflix so I might start one of those in the evening.
