I'm really sorry about Babs going today. I know it will be hard. You have often spoke about her on here.
Good that you found a possible sofa if needed though. Saves you having to go shopping again and trying to decide.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
My DIL never buys a sofa from a shop but gets them from fb marketplace. Wouldn’t mind but they are really lovely ones and I think the most she has paid is£50. Her latest was last week. It’s a bit plain beige one but I said just put either cushions and a blanket and it will look lovely. Having kids and a dog she doesn’t want to pay much at the moment.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.004

Your DD's sofa sounds gorgeous. I love orange things even though orange looks dreadful on me. Such a warm colour. It's nice that you've got a possible alternative to your current sofa in case it's needed, but getting yours re-filled is a very good idea.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

Babs went off to her new home today and she was not impressed at being bundled into a cat basket 😀the lady who has rehomed her was admiring my run so I asked her if she wanted it so she said yes please, she is going to message me when her partner can come and take it apart and pick it up. It’s nine feet by 3ft so not small and she also wants the dog kennel that I use as a coop too which I’m very pleased about because it saves me having to get rid of it separately. The lady who took her messaged me to say she thinks Babs is going to be in charge because she even told off the cockerel 😀she’s never lived with a male before so I’m not sure what she will make of that, she’s built like a tank though so I don’t fancy his chances 😀. I felt a bit sad when she went but I’m also relieved that she’s gone to a good home and I now don’t have to worry about having to look after her if I’m not feeling too good.I spent most of the afternoon tidying the garden which was nice, there’s load of leaves coming down now and lots of sycamore seed pods which I have to make sure I pick up otherwise I will end up with hundred of saplings which is a pain in the bum. I find it quite therapeutic just mindlessly tidying though so I enjoyed myself . I took my patio table in last week when we had all that rain so I could make sure it was dry enough to store away but we might be having a sunny week this week so I might put it back out again. I’m quite busy next week so might not have time to sit outside anyway.
I’m hoping to go to the foam shop tomorrow if I’ve not overdone it today 🤞🤞and I also have some more bits for the charity shop so can take that as it’s in the same place.
Tuesday I have my first pulmonary rehab class which is two hours long and it will take me a while to get there and back so that’s Tuesday done.
I’m meeting my sister on Wednesday morning for breakfast so I can give her an update on what’s been going on with my appointments etc
Thursday I normally meet my friend for coffee but she will only have got back from her holiday late Wednesday night so I don’t expect we’ll be meeting but I’ve got plenty to do at home if we don’t
Friday I’ve got my second pulmonary rehab class so again that will take up a lot of the day.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
Quite a full week coming up, then!
I'm glad Babs seems to have got off to a good start (I nearly said 'flying', but hopefully not). It's nice you were able to help the lady out with chicken accommodation, and that that helps you as well.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Just catching up, yay on the ESA but annoyed for you that it's not the one where you can just be off work without needing sick notes. Also shocked at the dr, he's not very empathetic to you considering he should understand how badly it must be affecting you.
Aw I hope Babs loves her new friends and home. I miss my chickens. I had a really friendly one called Hetty and she was my bestie till she passed.
I also hope the deep clean and new sofa innards will help you 🤞🏻♥️. I have allergies and bought a new to me sofa from the CS last month, I gave it a deep clean with a rug dr machine and it's been fine for me.
