You have been busy out & about, @Onebrokelady, which is good to hear. Weeding doesn't sound very physical, but it is. I find that even if I'm on my kneeler supposedly concentrating on just weeding a defined area well, I tend to be digging out deep roots & stretching way too far to grab out of reach weeds. Books, money & flowers are lovely presents.

Yes weeding can be very physical, I can only do a small patch at a time before I have to rest for several minutes and I used to be guiltly of trying to stretch to reach weeds but I can’t do it now so have to keep shuffling forward on my kneeling pad 😀 I do quite like weeding as I find it gives me time to mull things over 🙂

I love it that you took the cat out for a walk on the harness!😻 it's great that it was fine about it!
I love peonies!  I always think it's a good idea to have vouchers and money as presents rather than getting something you won't use - that's what I asked for when folk asked me what I wanted for my big birthday that was recently.  As Ive been losing quite a bit of weight I need new clothes so the cash and M&S vouchers come in really handy!
It was quite funny taking the cat out and I was very surprised at how much she enjoyed it 😀 I think she could smell all the rabbits in the long grass. I also love peonies and these are huge. I love ha h g vouchers and cash to spend so I can go and treat myself and I then end up with exactly what I wanted too 😀

The first time I ever saw a cat being taken for a walk was some years ago when I was in New York. I was absolutely gobsmacked at how it looked quite relaxed about it!

You deserve your quiet day tomorrow - you've fitted enough in recently. I'm glad to hear your appointment went well and you've been able to meet up with your daughters.

I agree about the Salt Path.  It was good but missed so much out.

I try to avoid watching anything I've read or reading anything I've watched as somehow they always seem to be a bit of a disappointment.  I would enjoy both I'm sure if only they hadn't become linked in my head.

I agree about the Salt Path. Not nearly as good as the book, but my friend who hadn’t read the book seemed to enjoy it more than I did as she had no comparison to make.
