It’s disgusting that your bosses haven’t read the occy health report. I’d be very tempted to put a complaint in….although it’s always hard doing that when you have to work there. 😡And it’s giving you extra hassle. It’s definitely not good enough 😳January spends - £587.582

Hi everyone just sitting down to do an update. I’m off work again with another chest infection 😟 so haven’t been up to anything much. I fell ill last Thursday and called 111 they got me an appointment on the Friday at the surgery. I had to call DD1 to come and take me because I couldn’t walk due to breathlessness. I saw a nurse associate who gave me anti biotics although she wasn’t sure I needed them. I went there with oxygen sats of 90 and the previous day they had dropped down to 85 which is low, any way today I read her notes and she wrote that my sats were 98 and my pulse was 90 …..guess who read the pulse oximeter upside down, DD1 was wondering why they didn’t send me to the hospital and now I know why, I just thought she didn’t think having sats of 90 was worrying, I mean I’m only a band 2 and she’s a band 7 so what would she know 🤦🏻♀️ I said to DD1 that she would have sent me if she was worried but I didn’t realise she had made a mistake in the reading. Honestly my surgery are useless.I’ve spent the week mostly in bed but I’ve tried to move around a bit to keep myself from getting too weak to stand up. I can’t walk up the stairs without sitting down once I get to the top my sats just fall down to the mid to low 80s .My recovery time is getting better but my sats won’t go over 93 now when normally they’re 96/97. It’s been a horrible week just lying in bed struggling to breathe. DD1 came and got me some shopping but I haven’t felt like eating much, I did make a stir fry last night so that was nice.
The sun has been shining today so I took a dining chair out and sat on the patio which was lovely, my garden chairs are in the loft though so no danger of me getting them out yet. I am really bored now though. I was supposed to be going over to DD2s on the Friday just gone to look after her kitten while she was away overnight but I couldn’t go so she couldn’t go either and I also missed a friends birthday meal on Saturday which I was looking forward to.
I’ve told work I won’t be back tomorrow and I’m going to contact my surgery on Thursday for a sick note because there’s no way I can work like this. I’ve got a phone call with the rheumatologist who sent me for the CT scan at 4.30 on Monday to discuss the results of the scan so hopefully that will be helpful. In the meantime I will just keep plodding onOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205 -
Oh no, so sorry to hear you have another horrible chest infection, OBL. It must be so scary& worrying not being able to breathe properly. And fancy the reading being upside-down! Take it easy, it sounds as though you don't have any option so clearly your body is telling you to rest. Are you able to read? I'm just thinking about trying to keep yourself entertained until you start to feel better, but it may be that you are prioritising sleep at the moment.
Anyway, am sending best wishes - hope the rheumatologist phone appointment will be useful. Take care now,

I do hope you will be complaining about the misreading of your sats. Frankly that was ludicrous & shows a serious lack of training. I understand you are feeling too ill at present but please when you are feeling better. That upsidedown figure could have been even more serious.4
