Morning all, beef casserole has been in the slow cooker since 6am this morning. Managed to use some not so fresh looking veggies into said casserole. Will do herby dumplings tonight and pop.in the stew later today. 😀
Have done one wash load and it's now tumble drying dry. Now just to declutter the wash mountain that has been steadily growing since the move back in September lol (I've only been washing what is essential and our clothes)
Hoping pup will be taken out with DH on his poo run shortly 😀😉
You know this decluttering/cleaning of this house just makes it look worse...it's just moving things around...lol
Valli wow has it really been a year doesn't seem possible. I hope you are feeling better today. It's not nice the unexpected side effects is it? DH hates them, even the ones that go away and then come back for a few weeks. He too hates the fatigue - he'd love to have proper energy 😉
It looks like it's not going to be as cold today, that's a relief I won't have to look like a Michelin man 😮
Hope you all have a good day xxx

CoG's comment made me think. There's a book here just waiting to be written. A group of totally different characters who have only met because of an internet forum and a shared dislike of housework, who come together and support each other through sick and sin. It's got bestseller written all over it 😊
A good thing I had no early appointment today as I didn't get up til 9. I must have the quietest neighbours ever under the shared roof. I don't know if they're in or out unless I look for their cars. And this morning two adults and three children got up and ready for work and school without disturbing me at all. Love 'em ❤
Anyhoo. I'm up, made my bed - slept well last night (much cooler not wrapped up in the duvet), and supped a brew. I'm going to H's for coffee at 11 so I ought to get a shuftie on. And get dressed if nothing else.
To Do Today List
Breakfast
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
11am H's
Pay rent on way home
Lunch

P is back at the hospital today. I believe they're starting treatment today. Finally 🤞
Have a good day.

Morning lovelies, I have not managed to do anything yet today. I have sat on the sofa drinking a coulpe of cups of coffee, but feeling exhausted. I do struggle with my energy levels, but no known reason. Makes me feel very cross, which doesnt help. I need to get up and dressed and Im going to make a short list of things to do. this morning before I start the taxi service and then work after that!Look through bookcase to get rid of some chidlrens books that wont be missed!Water plants, they are looking very dried up.Tidy up lounge and hooverPut wash on10 things in my bedroom and make the bed and air the roomjust over an hour later and ive done all bar 1.8 books ejected and ready to take to the village book swap thingy, I stopped counting when I got to 20 things in the bedroom and moved a few bits and pieces round. ALso had a shower which I am now rewarding myself with a sit down and a cuppa!! the lounge may or may not get hoovered, but I will tidy it!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

@~FlowerPot~ welcome! I'm also new here and everyone is so kind and helpful. I started off last week and then had a dizzy spell so slowed down and folks were really supportive. It is genuinely a marathon and not a race.
Speaking of which @Cloth_of_Gold to answer your question from the previous thread, my dizziness is linked to vertigo. It's based on some neck issues I've been having as well and I've been seeing a physio for it.
I'm still feeling rather tired from the past few days but I'm going to focus on these tasks for today:- put away some wool laundry that's been hanging up for a while
- put away another small pile of laundry, just a couple shirts
- open up a couple Amazon packages I collected yesterday and file the contents in the proper places
- bag up recycling
- run dishwasher
- throw on another load of laundry
Why does the laundry never end?! 😩 🙄

Morning folks
Done so far: S&S x2, downstairs vac, WUDUPA, WMX1 and out on line, ironing, general tidy and bed making
To do: bring in dry washing and fold away, declutter an area, probably gaming and DVDs, then an hour of weeding whilst it's dry. I'm waiting for the afternoon where there might be a little more warmth! Oh and walk dog and get a loaf of breadMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Morning.
No more horlicks here from now on. Didn't realise what I'd started there!
So far today, paid stuff, dailies, laundry shuffle ala HB and dog walk. I'm off out now for lunch so no more flying today as there will be more paid stuff when I get back.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

I am up and about now finally but progress is more of a snails pace than anything else. But im moving towards a few things to tidy away and clean as I go along rather than blitzing the house or even whole rooms in one go.Slow and steady wins the race ~ maybe!! If i go too slow I will never catch up with the washing pile!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

I'm really cross - here at work our cafe is closed but there are ingredients in the kitchen. Someone (and I strongly suspect 1 particular person) has been helping themselves to chocolate etc so I locked up the bars and bags (were used as cake toppings) but there are also some bags of Callebaut chocolate chips which are used in baking etc. At nearly £30 a bag. I've just been in the kitchen and found a chocolate chip dropped on the floor so I strongly suspect someone has been in the bags and helped themselves to chocolate chips - I know the person I suspect was in the kitchen this morning. Obviously I can't accuse her without better evidence but surely anyone with any sense would have realised that we have moved all the other chocolate for a reason? And stopped helping themselves? Well, actually - stealing!
In other news..
There was me all cheered up because I had emptied the washbasket and DS has been in touch - their washer has broken - and can I do their washing? Well at least I will be able to peg it out tomorrow.
But in more other news (how sad is this) I am beyond thrilled at the state of the sealant round the bath where I have had bleach-soaked toilet roll draped artfully over it - the mould is no more. And the sealant is WHITE!
