I know the x-ray was clear on your leg/foot but have the Drs suggested anything else on why it is painful or what they are going to try next.  They cant just say well rest it or don't go over 10k steps a day and then it will be fine, there must be a cause or some exercises that can help.  You want to be able to enjoy going to places like the Christmas market without worrying about resting it before going and knowing it will hurt the few days after.  Sorry mini rant over, I'm sure you feel the same
Nope nothing 😕 so I'm following up on Monday. I tried to send a message this morning but it won't let me and said try again Monday so I'll do that.
So for now I'll try to manage it the best way I know how with a lot of rest. Some days the pain has completely gone. And there is a clear pattern - it's usually after a couple of lazy days of resting it. I am wondering if chiropractor might be of some use as I think something might be off balance on me again.

  • I've been to Tesc0 and got a cabbage, some washing stuff as we'd run out and couldn't clean the clothes piles, and some bits off the food bank donation list. Dropped that straight to the trolley they were collecting in and then home. It took me 45 mins 🥴 my god it's busy out there today. And I literally live two minutes from the shop.
Anyway it's done. Now to start on my list of bits I need to do today. DP is already upstairs painting the ceiling and redoing the bits that need a second coat on the skirting (it's pink!) quite excited to just get to the part where we can start using the room.

  • Okay I've ticked a biggy off my list. I've contacted my ex 😔 I didn't want to but he's not provided his bank details so I can make the payment to him. And CM has contacted me asking if I have his details and If he's refusing them to ring them. So one last try to get them. I feel sick. I realised I'd been no contact for over a month and the knot in my stomach was all but gone. It's back.
    Anyway I've done it.

I've no clue when I'm supposed to receive any money from him. I've heard nothing from CMS aside from don't contact us. We'll contact you.

Right money shuffles next for bills and food and savings etc. then I'll check on DP and see how he's getting on.

  • My chiropractor has been so helpful with my knee/hip pain and encouraged me to see my GP to ask for a referral to podiatry. She maintains me whilst I wait. Hope you get it sorted as it’s awful feeling old before your time.

I think I'll do the same. Although I think I'll wait for Jan budget now. And then book in for an appointment.

In total agreement on the thoughts on what you are doing about your foot. That’s totally an unacceptable time to be left in pain for.

We got some more hangers and also some boxes and matching laundry basket, also a little picture that matches the black wardrobesfrom h0me s3nse. £90 spends. So any survey money/ sales and cashback I make this month will be covering that for me. I've already cashed out £12 towards it on my CB site so £78 left 🫣.
I found a mirror with a black frame that I had up for sale for agessss and no takers. I probably priced too high because it was one of those items- I'll try to sell for a price in happy with and if it doesn't sell I'm happy to keep it because I like it 🤣. Rather than a - don't want it list it for a £.

It looks good though withe everything in there and mirrors and picture up, and everything has a home. I've also found many clothes that I thought I'd got rid of - and still want to but for now I hung them all up and will go through it all properly when I'm less tired. I think I bring them down to a CS bag and DP in his helpful way brings them back up and puts them away for me 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️.

My dust allergies have been set off big time too, have a stye on the way and can't stop sneezing and blowing my nose 🙈. I'll hoover again tomorrow as it was all clean but I think emptying out the old wardrobe, and loft of coats etc has triggered dust to fly everywhere. All coats are hanging now though too so that's good. I saw one I think I definitely need to get rid of it's lost its shape and is all crumpled after going through a wash (CS coat anyway so not too bothered but it is a nice purple 💜🤔).

Shoes and belts are on the bottom or hung up and I still have some spare space so I told DD she could use it as she has a wardrobe, floordrobe, and also a chest of drawers and boxes full of clothes and still needs more space 🤔!

Right I'm off to shower and chill now. But feeling happy it's done. Just DS2 room to sort now which looks absolutely trashed as we've used it to store everything from all the rooms we've moved about 🥴 big clear out needed in there!

I'm in awe at how quickly you have got that sorted - and  - I admit to dressing room envy :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

When I get an idea in my head of something needing to be done and finished @Watty1 I am like a dog with a bone 😁🤣 much to everyone's annoyance around me who'd probably like to take months rather than hours.

I've woken up today with a half empty bedroom now and no clothes all over the floor because they don't fit anywhere. Today I intend on ripping out the makeshift wardrobe (made from an old bed frame 🤣) that DP kindly made me last year and giving my bedroom a good clean before moving some furniture about. At the moment we have our headboard right under the window and it's been so cold ❄️ 🥶 so I want to move it away from there which means turning it 90° not a huge job but I think it will be quite heavy 😬 so will need to enlist DP muscles not mine. I think it will make a big difference to us not waking up with cricks in our necks though and I'll be able to get to the window to clear condensation off every morning too. Aside from that and shopping I don't have too much I need to do today.

-Longer term plans for our bedroom included a quick paint job to get rid of the tired nursery green and yellow we have currently and building some doors into the alcove (where the wardrobe was built) where I can then put big plastic boxes full of clothes and other items I don't want in the loft getting potentially ruined. Before the clothes were moved I couldn't visualise the bedroom any different to the mess it was so just clearing a bit of space has helped massively with that 😀.
And again it shouldn't cost more than a couple of hundred quid for paints and materials to build doors and frame work.
I think that's a next year job along with working out which bathroom to do over first.

I've ordered a couple of cheap shelves off big river site as couldn't find any in the shops yesterday the right size and colour and I'll use those in the dressing room under the wall mirror to put my makeup and hair stuff.

DP used the dressing room this morning, he said it's great you can go down, wash in the main bathroom, use the toilet, move on to the dressing room all the clothes are visible and not squashed any more and then get dressed upstairs 😁. DD has filled any empty spaces we had in there already, and I've noticed she's put mostly clothes from her old step mum in there (the one who passed) and I'm not sure I want that energy of ex in there every time I walk in 😬 but it is a sensitive subject and I'm wondering if she has taken them out of her room because subconsciously she might be feeling she doesn't want them but also doesn't want to tarnish her step-mums memory by discarding these clothes. Or am I overthinking 🤔🥴.

Right best get up...I had a nice lie in this morning so not even dressed yet.
