Thanks @beanielou 😁
DP and I have said we may have to borrow a bit out of EF towards the end of the month. To get us through December. We've overspent as usual before the beginning of the month has even started. This keeps happening. I'm finding it harder and harder to bridge the gap between the last week of the month and the next month starting. Food prices I'm sure have gone up over the last few weeks. I've spent silly amounts on things. For example a product I bought last week was 55p this week it was 69p. So a 25% increase 🤔 and that's just on one item I've noticed. 🤔 My food shopping habits haven't changed an awful lot I'm a bit of a creature of habit and buy mostly the same stuff with little variations. Anyway just writing my thoughts down. Not much I can do as we don't splurge on alcohol, cigarettes, vapes or huge amounts of junk etc so not sure what we can cut back on. I think it's more of a case of putting more money towards the food budget. 🤔 I'm now wondering what everyone else spends on food. I have only three of us at home - so three adults and I've just this month put It up to £550 but I'm not even sure that is enough. I've been through my bank and the spends on the last week of the last three months that I can view are for either toiletries that have run out, food and the odd misc item but mainly food. Which then sends the whole budget for the next month out of sync and on a back foot before we've started 🤔 hmm.
Anyway, later on I'm off to the gym I need to be using it. The last two weeks I've had to drag myself in the miserable weather to go. I've booked a class on weds too. I'm thinking of pushing back seeing my cousin to Thurs as I'm supposed to see her weds. But I think it will be too much of a rush to get to her after gym class then back again to see my friend in the afternoon. I've had another friend ask if I'm free too but I've had to put her off.
One thing I ought to fess up to is I've messaged my dad. I haven't spoken to him in years but I was having a particularly low moment the other day and I messaged him. We've been chit chatting over nothing in particular although he's mentioned his health isn't good. I think I feel my family getting smaller and smaller and I feel sadder and sadder, I've always been a very loving and social person with my family and, well, yeh it was a low moment. I'm not sure why I did it but I have to carry on speaking to him now..it's going okay at the minute but after unpacking a lot of my childhood I did want to cut cords with him. Which I did. And now I didn't.
Why does life have to be so difficult sometimes. 🙂🙃
In other news that yukky tincture works miracles on energy. I notice if I don't have it my energy flags big time. I've not been yawning and feeling tired. I'm also able to tolerate gluten again and also sulphites (to the small degree I dared to try. But before it was extreme reactions to it and I'd be instantly sick.) dairy I'm still struggling with as I did try to add it back to my diet to stop me feeling so depressed and like life hates me so much 🤣 I know I am a drama queen but my eating was getting smaller and smaller because of reactions. So to be able to add gluten back in and sulphites is making me happy enough..the dairy I will leave out again as I look like a teenager again with acne 🤔.
One hour left after lunch then I'll go home. Finish wrapping my presents I found in DS2 room - hidden under crap. And then I'll get to the gym. Then dinner. And chill.
Lots going on this week, Xmas parties, Xmas markets, seeing DS1, gym, seeing cousin (she just had heart surgery) and trying not to forget anything 🙃🙂🤔🤣.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

So I'm trying to save a few pennies for Xmas. I wanted a new board game and they're so expensive 😱 so I found a game everyone can join in with on your TV and phone. I got it on a BF deal and also found a code that worked for another 50% off so paid £14.99 for three games- catchphrase, million pounds drop and a pub quiz. I've just had a go of them all and they all seem to work ok. Couldn't do the pub quiz as that was two plus players. You go to the search function on your TV and sign in (tv internet app) and then use a QR code to sign in as a player up to about 8 players on some I think then answer on your phone. Looks fun and hopefully will be enjoyed by all 😃🎄. And half the price of the board game we were looking at for three games!
Off swimming later and a nice sauna steam room sesh as I'm freezing and have been since yesterday and unable to warm up. In between that obvs the obligatory hot flushes 😭 ugh. So hopefully the sauna will warm me up somewhat. I'll prep dinner now I think then cook whilst we are out (maybe just some JPs as they can cook on low whilst we're out) and I'll make a salad now to go with it.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

What was the timing on the yucky tincture that you settled on, to allow it to give you energy but not keep you awake at night?
Well done on the OP - thank you ex! 😉
Hope the sauna helps to warm you up.

Thank you @KajiKita 😄I'm quietly thankful for that too haha.
I take the tincture in the morning with a cold drink and then one just after lunch to keep me going but it's out of my system by bed 🤣. As otherwise I'm wide awake.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500
