  • Just been catching up on your diary dfw,
With the maintenance money I would be sorely tempted to save it in a seperate pot for a holiday!! . What joy you could have knowing he paid for a holiday for you DP and DD!!

🤣 Oh gawd he'd hate that so much. He already tells the kids our house is his because he pays for it. Apparently his maintenance paid our mortgage, food, kids clothes and anything we ever bought for the kids 🤣🤣.

I know. I wish my money were like his and stretches to absolutely everything wanted or needed 😆
  • Evening all,
I came home early from work. I had a horrible coughing fit and ended up feeling really sick. Had to stop myself being sick 🙈 and wetting myself all at once what a nightmare 🤣I was so embarrassed as I couldn't stop coughing people were asking if I was okay whilst simultaneously avoiding me like the plague and every time I went to speak it started again. I was streaming with tears. Aw my lawd what a sight I must have been. So anyway I came home, with borrowed trousers (I should be very embarrassed here but I'm going to be completely honest 🤷🏻‍♀️😭 a little bit of it escaped in my rush to the toilets to be sick/ go to the loo). It is the cold damp rooms in that one building that keeps setting me off. Every time I have coughs it is in there. I am fine at home again!

Anyway, I did an online course on my remote desktop so they can't complain although technically not in work, I did actually still do the work even though other people just no-showed today (we have been sort of left to our own devices to find things to keep us busy for much of the week so I was doing an open uni course) ... tomorrow I am in only a couple of hours. Not the same building so I will go (attempt to anyway can't promise another coughing fit won't happen 🙈). Aside from a bit of a cold I'm really not that sick so it is just my chest playing up, and only at work 🤔. And tiredness, I'm so tired 🥱🥱🥱.

DP and I just went to the gym to the steam room but it didn't help very much, I was feeling dizzy and having heart palpitations 🙄 good lord my body is so dramatic it winds me up. Anyway home, doing dinner and will chill. Two hours at work tomorrow - not due in till just before two pm so nice easy day really ☺️ and I'm looking forward to that mini course so I don't want to be off!
Then I will have a week off 😁.
NSD at least. There had to be some positive eh 🙈🤣. Be glad to write today off.

Oh it is the first thing on my list to do- nothing. I went back to work after summer hols and was not rested, stressed out from a half house done and I've already said to DP my intention is to rest. Do fun stuff. ☺️

I'm going in at 2pm for just over an hour but it is a fun one and I don't want to miss it. The workshop is right up my street...we get to do tasters of other courses that are on at college and this one is something I already do a lot of at home so I'm definitely hobbling in for that. It's the only fun thing we've got to do all week 😆. I am bringing the car though and I will park in the carpark across the street. Once again my chest has been fine at home, I've barely coughed. I'm literally allergic to work 🙄🙈😆.
  • Morning all! DP and I had an epic sleep I actually feel rested today. It probably helped I took an antihistamine (they always knock me out) and some magnesium before bed (same effect!). I'm hobbling on this foot. I'm going to message the GP surgery see if I can get am x-ray referral to do next week during my hols. If it is not broken (I think a bone might be chipped) I'm going to go see a chiropractor or some other alt therapy. I've mentioned it twice now to the Dr.... Blank stares and, rest it, ice pack, take some ibuprofen 🙄 it's been like this on and off for two years now. I'm getting fed up of not being able to walk on it properly weeks on end and the times I can walk on it it's sore and uncomfortable and causes knee issues and hip pain.
So yes, I'm going to message them this morning and then tidy up, stick a wash on and go and sit with a hot water bottle under my foot until I need to be at work. 😁. Might even read some of my book.
