  • Afternoon! Work is done. If you can call sitting around pretending to look busy, work ...🤔 We did courses I've done a hundred times 🥱 not even a refresher for me as I just did them all again with the fostering process 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣. So I really was bored. I'm so fidgety, we had a talk on ADHD. I diagnosed myself mid way through 😉 I ticked every box as he went through it... If only teachers had been aware of different learning styles/ personalities and ACEs when we were kids eh. Oh how some of us could have thrived ...that was my take away from the day.

I will need to do the same again on Thursday 🙈.
However I have done some extra hours today and yesterday so Fri I am just doing a few hours and I'm done. No one is even ticking us in and out honestly if I was a little less honest I could just say I was there and working and no one would even know 🙈. But I'm too honest (I annoy myself with that).

So, I got the refund for the cooker 🥳🙌🏻 can I get a hallelujah!! Woop! 🥳 I paid the new cooker off, all other small bills on the CC which I already had money for anyway and the cc is clear 🤩 yay! Now to keep it that way!
Only the catalogue left I think 🧐 🤔.
I'm so relieved I really thought I wasn't going to get the money back at one point.

I had a message last night from the ex that DS has had blood tests come back abnormal and a review about it today. He didn't say much more, but years of mental abuse from him has sent me into all the places and ways he doesn't say anything and I was putting in things he could be implying with this...I have stopped myself. I was aware of what I was doing and could feel myself spiralling into self blame and have stopped it in its tracks. I feel quite proud of myself for that recognition. I will wait to see what the Dr says before resuming any self blame for anything. From what I g00gled it sounded like vit D deficiency which oddly enough ds1 had at exactly the same age. The Dr asked me, does he game a lot? Yes. Does he draw his curtains whilst doing so and blocking out the light? Yes. And that was what was causing it. I'm hoping it is just something like this rather than something serious. But honestly that man cannot leave me alone. He's always poking. And prodding and reminding me he's there. DP said to block him. So has a friend actually 🤔. But I can't. Not whilst DS is there.
He refused to give me bank details for himself so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to pay him his maintenance.

Right off to watch some trashy TV for a while before cooking dinner. Day off tomorrow and DD and I have a girly trip to the cinema booked and perhaps a little mooch around some shops 🙂.

  • Dinner was sausage and mash leftovers for DD she was utterly thrilled with this and told us no more sausages 🙈 unbeknownst to us she was having sausage sandwiches for her break at work on sat and sun then we fed it to her Sunday and also today 🤣🙈
DP and I ate curry leftovers. I offered them to DD but she said they stained her braces and begrudgingly took the sausage and mash 🙈🥳.

Fridge is looking a bit better now and I can see what is what. It was groaning a bit too much before and although some like their like this I don't as I get things lost and then end up throwing it away (we've a big larder type fridge that is taller than me).

No news on DS so I'm going to assume it wasn't awful because ex would have been straight on the phone surely to tell me how I've neglected my DS...? 🤔 Anyway for now I'm going to believe no news is good (enough) news.

You need to let the child support people about ex not giving you his bank details so you can’t pay him.
Great news on the cooker refund.

Woohoo for refund and what a lovely positive exercise with the training x

If you ever feel like letting me have horrible ex's address, I'll quite happily go and give him a swift kick to the man bits (of course we would never condone violence, obviously 🤣)

Oh I have already! I've asked him outright twice and he just ignores the question or states something silly like just take it off what I owe you each month, which I can't if they are doing the collection payments. Honestly talking to him and understanding his garble is a full time job.
