Buying a little piece of Middle England; Manifesting my way to mortgage free.

Afternoon all, the only bits on my list I didn't do were printing pics for VB I need DP help as my laptop won't connect to the printer. And read my book.
I've done everything else though. Today reminded me of a time where I used to do things like this all the time, self care things. And I've totally gotten out of the habit. Hoping to continue this way I do feel much better and lighter.
I even made some cupcakes 🧁.
Dinner is cooking and then I will chill out. I do still have a bad cold lingering but I've not felt too bad all day until now and it's hit me again.
Hope everyone has had a good day ☺️.3 -
So glad you made some space and time for you to be you. Hopefully you will sleep well off the back of it tonight.

Thanks @KajiKita, @beanielou 🧁🧁😍.
I slept awfully last night, throat feel like I have razors in there 🤧 and full of cold still. It always seems to be worse at night meaning I sleep badly but manageable during the day. I've rung in sick again. I'm too tired for what is planned today and I have a very poorly student in the class who's immunocompromised after illness and I don't want to be the one who brings a cold in to her (although tbf I'm sure it was my Friday group I actually caught this from!)
Builder is coming over this morning as he didn't make it the other day for whatever reason. DP needs to go out for a meeting anyway so now I'm home I can stay and wait for him.
Today I will get the pics printed off for that VB. I know how now. And read my book and chill. Got plenty of dinner left from last night so that can do for later and also a few cupcakes left even after sharing them out here 😌😉. It's pouring with rain outside and quite cold inside too. Might need to put the heating on in mornings from now on 🤔 was hoping to hold off for a few more weeks though.2 -
Good for you taking the day off. My 'cold' seems to have lasted and lasted, into 3rd week now.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
Glad you are looking after you and taken the day off.
Has a nice calm day and maybe a meditation once you've got that VB printed / finished xx2 -
@debtfreewannabe321 and @Watty1 hope you both manage to recover and feel better quickly 🤒
I know that there is a version of Covid doing the rounds up here
and most are feeling the effects for about a week/10days 1 -

Thanks @Watty1 i hope you're feeling better soon, I have had mine a week at least now, the tiredness was really bad last week. @Bananabreadyum thank you
I am going to meditate in a mo, the pics are just printing off (I hope!)
The builder has just finished. He honestly didn't do very much and moaned about it the whole time he was here. I left him to it in the end and sat in the other room. He was very complimentary about the room decoration and new kitchen though which was nice, the last time he saw it is was mid way through the build.
I intend to do the VB pics first and then meditate on the VB once done.
It is super cold and I have turned the heating on low.
I have messaged DD school and chased up the refund from the ski trip. Also messaged SW about arranging a meeting whilst I remembered.3 -
I cross posted with you @LilSmiler yeh I think you might be right...it's not been the worst illness I have had this year but it has been exhausting more than anything. Thanks @beanielou 🫂3
