Two default notices have arrived - both from Newday for marbles and fluid cards.
Busy at work due to a shuffle round.
Have booked a week off at the beginning of may to paint downstairs toilet and kitchen.
Wish this weather would make up it's mind, it's lovely during the morning but come 3pm it's soo cold1 -

Irresponsible lending complaint response received from Lendable who don't uphold my complaint but do note I have had a change in circumstances and as they have gone over the 8 week response time, have given me £25 which will go into the loan account. Hopefully they will default soon.
One more complaint response to come and a whole load of defaults . I'm just saving now until the time to pay.
Cleaning the house this weekend, and preping for painting in a couple of weeks or so 🤘3 -
I'm confused. Have received a letter from marbles saying I've been issued with a default, accont closed etc and passed over to a debt collector, who have been in touch with me. The letter says to make arrangements with debt collector otherwise I could end up with default being registered on my credit report. I thought this automatically happened when you default on an account?0

Didn't want to leave you hanging. I have no idea, but I guess I thought that would be the case. It's kind of not really important to you by the sounds of it, you expect to get a default, so the threat isn't really threatening.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

I think you are correct @WhiteBunny the default is there and cannot be applied again. Hope you are getting on ok!0

The last 6 months have been horrible. Time off work, daughter had her car written off due to someone hitting her. She's ok but the hassle has taken its toll, mental health worsening etc. I think I'm back on an even keel but time will tell. I've been paying all credit accounts a reduced amount but some of these are now coming to an end - these are still with the original lender and haven't defaulted. I'm going to leave these and not pay anything until they default.
Also had a big expense on the car - needed new tyres and had a service.
Anyway, in brighter news.. Christmas is coming 😵💫😱😀1 -
Welcome back, @WhiteBunny. I'm sorry to hear it's been tough. Do cut yourselves some slack if you can, especially this time of year when it can all get a bit crazy. Take time out to enjoy the lights and the cosy things.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hello Cherryfudge - thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments. Just been told that step daughter is having her baby next week (being induced) and so we're off down there for 4 days. More expense but looking forward to seeing them all, and as long as I'm spending on the things that matters I can't grumble.1

Congratulations to your SD - sometimes the benefits outweigh the cost and spending on these sort of things is priceless xSealed pot challenge 822
