Dentist found & £180 deposit paid 😳 ouch! Now hopefully the tooth stays in and not too achey til my appointment at the beginning of Dec.Day off today, dog walked and I am debating an online shop. Even though I’m way into my grocery budget 😭. I’ll go through my basket again and see if I can get a cheaper price than it is atm.Weekend plans are chills, self care, foot spa, face mask, nice dog walks and then once sufficiently chilled I will do some chores. While keeping my tounge on my molar to keep it in place 😆😭😆.One week til last DMP payment!Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

Washing done, dog walked, shopping done, beds changed, floors cleaned.I got a takeaway 😳😬
so so tired
haven’t done much but I’m just shattered, slept well last night and have been sleeping well mostly, but already back in bed, not quite 12 hours after leaving it. Trying to stay awake a bit longer to avoid the early hours wake up potential.I think I need to look at a lifestyle switch up next, I am just exhausted by life atm. Need to lose weight and exercise.I feel quite content and happy overall , just knackered too, happered?
maybe it’s the load of work, single mum, SEND mum, getting out of debt, building works, constant bits falling off me (tooth) and car?!I just feel like I could spend a month in a shepherds hut somewhere alone and that would be glorious atm.Tired hermit vibe here.Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

Woke up feeling rough, so the tiredness was pre lurgs not just totally down to being old and spent! Very head cold/y.Spent the morn chilling and then summoned up the energy to walk dog, fresh sea air helped, went to get some chilli and ginger as I’ll make a spicy ramen which usually helps the coldy vibes. Got a pork to roast which DS1 will like and I’ll have in my ramen and hopefully then prepped for lots of leftovers for the week. Still have leftover takeaway but can’t manage that today. Most of the Sunday prep is done now so I’m back on the sofa hopefully a restful day and eve ahead and I can beat this cold before it takes hold!Roll on Friday DMP free day 🎉💯 so long as car/garage bill not to crazy on Fri, otherwise might have to wait til 28th 😭 got everything crossed 🤞🏼 all ok for 22nd.Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

The lurgey/cold really did hit. Only just about feeling slightly functional. Hopefully a good night sleep will get me closer to being back on track.Still waiting for final settlement figure from PP/creditors. I wish I was feeling ridiculously excited about 3 days til DMP done.. but I think feeling rough, no confirmation of settlement figure and impending garage bill is taking the edge off a bit! Then Xmas and EF to get together for full new year new me vibes!Feels odd, don’t know if it’s the cold/flu situation or finally coming to the end of such a huge journey- not just the money.Going to take a while to process I think. Feels emotional and like the last part of me is being put back.Sleep time. Here’s to no more lurgey and cheap garage bills 🤞🏼💯🎉Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

Having looked in the mirror (briefly) lately and especially since the lurgey took hold I’ve been slightly traumatised by my appearance. In light of this and with thoughts of how to celebrate becoming DMP free I’ve just ordered some nice skincare and makeup. I’ve been looking at it for ages and I haven’t ever really worn any makeup or done lots of skincare but recently I’ve found a bit of pampering quite nice. So this will be a little treat to me and a trial to see if I like it.I also will work towards booking a haircut and highlights at some point because I haven’t been to the hairdressers in years and years.Am I having a glow up?! 😆 🤔🤪🤩🎉Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550
