Busy morning: done! Now back home, whipping up some muffins for the boys that are basically cakes in disguise. Also making banana and blueberry ones just for me—because I’m fancy like that 😆… Later, it’s pizza time, I’m going for my go-to combo: anchovies, egg, ham, mushrooms, sweetcorn, and rocket. Easy n delicious.

In the “adulting” department, got a credit limit increase on my new credit card—how dare they! I’m a whole new person now! Four years with no credit, and now I’m here, keeping the balance low and paying it off each month, all in the name of rebuilding my credit rating. It’s like I’m “responsible” or something? But I’m still credit card-averse. It’s a safety net & to build score while I build up my emergency fund and get that last DMP payment in the bag. I’m way more excited about not using credit than I am about having it.

How times have changed!

Finally, the Sunday vibes have arrived! 🎉 But… perhaps times have not changed.. my car has other plans, as I’m now serenaded by the delightful sound of brake discs grinding. Life’s doing its thing, but I’m confident I’m one step ahead.

Anyone eaten a mince pie yet? I usually wait til December or when I finish work for the Xmas hols. But I’m feeling wild this year. 🤔 might happen pre December!

I think December is sensible, just saw one on the tv and thought about my previously undisclosed December mince pie rule! 🤔😆

My estimated DMP balance says £371, so I’m very hopeful it is actually that left, even with some creditors not getting back to PP to confirm. Last months credit reports seem to be in line with that, just a month behind (still showing Oct balance not Nov). So shouldn’t be far off £371!
I am going to be attempting sending that on 22nd. Also the day my car is in the garage 🤪 so that will be an expensive day! But what a joy 🤞🏼 working car 😆🤞🏼 and debt freedom?! Never thought I’d see the day.
