Makes sense to have a separate office space if you do take someone on obviously the cost and the travel for you but worth a look. Try not to think about the appointment you cant change anything anyway but I would be exactly the same myself. Take care look after yourself.

My normal worry mitigation is to have researched as much as I can before an appointment I am fretting about. Being me, in the appointment I go armed with, and I ask questions to test my understanding of the physical bits and the research helps me understand why I get put on the fast pathway periodically.
Having said that, apparently the head nurse practitioner Gynae oncology person is phoning me this morning. Since there is no explanation why, I am unprepared. I will be asking why they want to speak to me.

Office space sounds great if it's within budget, I also wouldn't want someone working at mine when I'm not working, as you would still technically be working as your employee would be there so you would be mentally be in employer mode.
Natural to be nervous about the appt. If its rubbish news then you will work out how best to deal with it, but there is a whole range of news options before 'rubbish' so statistically it's more likely to be fine to annoying. Treat yourself kindly and enjoy whatever brings any joy or comfort or pleasure

Appointment done. Surgery to be scheduled in next two weeks apparently then we will know more. Have to go back next week for pre-op because it "is lunchtime" and we cannot do it today!!
Found somewhere to park for free so happy with that.
