If you ask your PA to do the task, via a Teams video call, you could use the "record" function to capture them doing it in "real time". If you needed to carry out the task again, you could re-watch the video and possible DIY x x xajmoney said:I was thinking this. Could you watch virtually while she does it and observe (share screen) then next time or when you are ready she could observe and guide you?6 -

ah but your thread is enough to put anyone off the actual "doing". At this point I'm just going for planning and keeping to my one step at a time view of this. I am spending (investing?) on this, but, if I get it, it should increase the value of that bit of land and this was one of my "ifs and maybes" to right the money lost on PPH.PennysIntoPounds said:P.S. excellent work on the build progress, very impressed 🥂Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

WattyDog went back to the vet for a progress check and a plan which we now have. Swimming is not to be allowed again, but, hearing how disappointed both WattyDog and I were on this the lovely vet suggested I get him a sort of doggy life jacket with a handle and go in with him.
Naturally that is now a summer only option
but a quick look online and I can see how this would work for him.
As we were leaving the receptionist asked if he could have a treat and produced a handful of "those" treats that caused the problem in his opinion. He excitedly took his mouthful of treats, realised what they were and spat them out on her desk and very pointedly looked the other way. That did make me laugh (I explained to her the issue, and it was agreed by all that he is a very intelligent dog).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Well that answers my thought about how he would be if someone else gave him this treats 😆, what a character 😻

WattyDog, you make me smile.
It's lovely he still has an option for swimming.
If you were to record the PA's training, would you need to ask them for permission to record?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Possibly. She struggles with phone and video calls so I'm going to watch the video the website chap has given me and then make notes and if I still don't get it I will ask her to do the job and tell me what bit I missed. She is ok making recordings of herself doing something.Cherryfudge said:

Her oddness about not making calls is just a quirk i can live with (when I found out how much she struggled I thought she was excellent at the interview as it did not come across). She caught up with the immediate stuff yesterday and as a result I made an extra £798 (before taxes)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I read this quote again this morning and I feel like it belongs here:
