I have been forgiven. Sold an unwanted printer on bay of E for £31 and VNM WattyDog and I have been out for breakfast on that. Two English breakfasts with my sausage and a bit if bacon shared with WattyDog and I am forgiven. 🤣🤣. I admire him for holding out so long 😀Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I was told my dog was a not so intelligent breed....every time he needed tablets he would do this. Take it, pretend to swallow it, I would even give him another treat to make sure he had swallowed, I would be satisfied (perhaps I am the less intelligent breed here
) and he would turn around, walk away, spit it out from wherever he had hidden it in his mouth and I would find it later on. Nightmare
Hope wattydog is on the mend soon.
Glad you got official diagnosis, how does it make you feel having that? Have they said it is C-PTSD or PTSD, I think there is a lot of difference in the two. I think you already have the book I recommended an age ago by Pete Walker, it's great and confirmed so much for me and made me feel a little less nuts with how I respond to things (differently to how 'normal' people do) I can't say I have taken much of the actively using the tips in the book on to help myself but just having the understanding of who I am, why I am this way and why I catastrophise sometimes, have melt downs etc etc - it's helped. I hope you get some help from the counselling, I sometimes think I should seek it out. I have such a mistrust of care professionals though, it stops me every time. xxEmergency Fund goal - £1000/2000

that is so funny @debtfreewannabe321 I have the Pete Walker book you recommended but have lost it (hmmm).
The service were to get back to me with a proposal yesterday but sent a text saying they could not (?) and would be in touch (?) it was a really odd text.
I've been out Thursday to the dentist and today to a cafe and survived both so all good. I did chat with my dentist about getting the implant sorted this year and doing all the dental work as I know that is on my mind but he is just so far away that I get stressed going. He was so lovely, says we should get the implant work underway so I've a short list of 4 I am going to send him so he can let me know where he thinks I should go (one place will need a referral from him).
One MSE thing, before Christmas I ordered some coffee. Despite concentrating on rebuilding savings I am allowing myself lovely coffee as it seems a real treat every day. I thought the coffee was going down really quickly so I asked the VNM if he was using it too ( he previously has said he is happy with the instant he likes) and he thought I had just ordered half my usual amount. Luckily I still had the order number so I emailed the company very nicely saying it was over four weeks and I hadn't raised an issue at the time so I would understand if it was too late but xxx and a whole new order turned up yesterday as an apology. Fantastic service and I am a delighted customer.

Todays list is very long and all work. Side effects of medication seems to have pretty much passed now, just the odd blech moment. Yesterday I rode CC, then wrote a 10 minute presentation that I need to record today and send off and met someone who answered my face book post for a cleaner. I'm struggling with someone in the house but I am equally struggling to keep on top of things so we really do need someone. She came round, was exhausting as she talked and talked (but I will be working so she can talk to WattyDog) and was lovely to WattyDog so I am going to give her a try. She starts this Friday and I gave her a list of the priorities for Friday and she will do stuff like break up boxes for the parrots and load in the car, change bedding as well as hoovering etc. If she does a half way decent job she should be great as she was pretty much up for doing anything where the last couple have stuck to the agency prescribed cleaning list.
A few days off meal boxes so dinner last night used a bag of casserole mix to make a slow cooker mulligatawny soup (just added the mix, some curry powder and some chicken stock and then some cooked rice from the freezer) served with yellow stickered sausage rolls from when the girls were staying before Christmas. Lots of soup left over so that will do lunches. There is a cauliflower in the fridge so will turn that into an Aloo Gobi tray bake that someone on the forum (cannot remember who) posted about. It is delicious and easy! I'm using up what is in the freezer and cupboard to make inexpensive meals when we do not have a meal box option to balance out the budget.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
