Thank you all so much. WattyDog appreciates you (woof) as do I. He certainly will not be having opioids again (vets made a note on his records).
We are home with a plan for new pain relief for his slipped disc and reassured that the side effects will wear off eventually. He clearly still feels very poorly but he is now engaging with us a little and has stopped wailing. After discussion with a colleague who is a physio I have got a red light therapy device coming for him so he can have that as well. I think it helped him before but I felt guilty keep borrowing hers so we have got him one to use over the next few days.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!8 -
