Big well done!
Also just checking, is your hairbrush one that's specially for thinning hair? It could help a bit over timehttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

And yes, it is a milestone and I am over the moon. It was the minimum I hoped I would one day get to. Totally aware a stock market hiccup could drop it below as it is a just touching but I have done it. I have rebuilt so much.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Watty1 said:Thanks for recommendation pip. I've tried so much, including supplements and collagen and potions and products. I read a great comment on line yesterday " you can't supplement your way out of stress" and that really made me think.
In other news moved more money into pension plan and have exceeded my first hoped for milestone with that.4 -
I like that quote too @Humdinger1
On that subject I have almost given up sugar treaty stuff. I say almost as I was derailed by a bag of m&m yesterday but i only ate 7. VNM left them in the fridge. I see he ate the rest yesterday. Thankfully.
Am really trying to improve diet and give up packaged processed "stuff"Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I'm also trying to give up bad stuff in my diet but it's really hard when tired and stressed.
But late to the hair chat but mine is thinning and doesn't look like it used to (I used to have a beautiful long thick mane of hair), I have tried all sorts and not much helps. The one supplement I stick with out of all the ones I tried is biotin though that does seem to help a little.

Final course of the year starts today. The course has been instrumental in funding work here and adding to the pension pot as not only have there been the sales but I think it also increased the main business as people learnt more.
Once this course is well underway I start work on the next project to build the business/boost the pots. Most of the big housework is done, just front of the house "to sort" which is something I've pondered on for a long time and a carpet to be purchased for the stairs.
VNM cut up the old wooden furniture yesterday and put it in the log store, also moved a lot of logs undercover from the pile in the field. The back drive/orchard area is looking a lot neater now.

The furniture looks so good !
my sister got about a 10th of her normal hay from her one hay field this year
my hair is breaking off suddenly - really looks the worse it has in years - my hairdresser suggested I really trim it next time, and get a wig to stop me having to blow dry it !!
so I am now on a deep conditioner routine to try and help

I have waist length hair, have had for most of my adult life. Its always been really thick but in the last few years I'd say I've lost half. Now my pony tail is less than one of my bunches used to be. Doctor doesn't seem interested or to have any ideas. I've been tested for thyroid after my post viral fatigue, I wash it in the shower every day and have done since I was at secondary school, I've probably used a hairdryer on it twice in the last 45 years, it gets towelled dry and left to its own devices. I'm reckoning its just post menopause but its certainly been depressing finding hairs everywhere and it getting thinner. I'm about 7 or 8 years after my last period.
I've taken sea kelp tablets on and off for years which helps with nail strength and hair strength but recently started on marine collagen from b@@ts and definitely not noticing such a lot of hairs, seems to be back to normal loss levels. Could just be its reached a plateau, who knows
I'm lucky I had such thick hair to be begin with, probably no one looking would notice anything but it looks so flat to me and when I run my hands through it it just feels thin to me. Doesn't help its now so light, definitely salt and pepper these days. Id go back to purple like I had for a couple of years but I got so fed up with the roots, you don't notice it growing till you dye it lol
Anyhoo, definitely worth trying to sort it everyone, it does affect mood to not feel good about yourself

@daisy_1571 sounds like you had/have fabulous hair so hopefully people are not as aware as you as to the difference
I am super allergic to marine collagen ;( I came out in massive welts & hives when I used it in a face cream
just been trying the whole C@rnish seaweed hair system stuff but actually since I started on it 3 months ago my hair breakage has been terrible - /worse ever am thinking it’s the serum so gonna just stick with trying shampoo - which makes it look thicker I will admit but change up the conditioner and avoid the serum and use more leave in conditioner stuff
I am even eyeing up the wildly expensive Oribe shampoo to see if it helps breakageDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

I've found one of the advantages of having short hair is not needing to use a hairdrier. I have found that despite being over ten years older & having my hair dyed every 6 weeks it is in no worse condition than back then because it had begun to deteriorate.0
