Funny how things happen. I had hypnosis a few years ago to help my eating. Took me back to when I was in hospital when I was younger. I got so upset I had to stop the session.Recently I’ve been having weird dreams about my very ex DH. Many years ago under another user name, I was involved with a thread where someone had bought a dream cottage that then went seriously wrong and needed massive refurbishment. Someone's written a blog post about it - perhaps that was in mind when I read about Lamb Paddock!

Terrace with view of the sea sounds perfect.
I'm glad you were listened to by the hormone doctor. In time you might feel like you want to try some of those therapies again, once you feel you've processed some of the trauma, but it's also okay if not, everything doesn't have to suit everyone.
I think you're doing brilliantly to acknowledge the traumas, and brave and capable for seeking and being open to ways forward 🥂https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Not even that blog post has put me off Lamb Paddock, but, the VNM is not for budging. I will however investigate how to pop into the auction on line - you know - "just in case" and all thatMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I think it was @daisy_1571 who made the point knowing might help. I also found a book that might be helpful so downloaded that (about psychological abuse) Read a few pages and got an "ah ha" moment so it might be helpful.
Today I just decided to be nice to me and messaged to say I would not be attending a meeting in London. Yes, they would have paid me but I felt I needed a rest so instead I said I would attend online (they don't pay for that). Then I rode CC and he made me giggle as we went with his "bestie" from down the road and went past "that pig" Bestie was super brave and went past first and CC hung back then went past not taking his eyes off pig - to the point of going sideways past pig so he did not take his full gaze of said pest.
Took something into post office in village, stopped at charity shop and purchased a board game for £1.50 and then had a coffee in cafe with VNM. Came home and finally cleared the fridge and then made a soup for lunch served with a jacket potato and a lovely pudding of redcurrant puree, yoghurt and granola. Delish! And pretty much made from bits that needed using up.
Whilst meeting was on I managed to catch up with work and picked a bucket full of apples in the mid afternoon break. Thanks to whoever gave me the idea of freezing crumble and apples separately as that is on the plan for tomorrow.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
