Jaw still sore. Quite puts me off the rest of the work needed, but, it was on my "health and feel fabulous goals" list so I have to at least come up with a plan before the end of the year.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

The dental work will be unpleasant in the short term, but it's about your health, so important to get it done. Once it's done, then it's just maintenance (very important) and you can get on with the feeling fabulous bit.3

So true Greenbee. Whilst having a bit of rest on the sofa I indulged my current hobby of looking at potential properties (so far in the distance really as need to sort out here first but an enjoyable hobby) and I found this. Knowing many of you like looking too

Well for a 340 year old cottage its not in baaaaad condition 😆
Wonderful place, wonderful scenery, fabulous amount of land, plenty for the horses, youd be able to go a decent ride and stay on your own land. I wouldn't be worried about the house, I think you'd be better off getting a large caravan to live in whilst you apply for planning to put up a new wooden kit house.
Wonder what it will go for at the auction

I like it, bit of roof on, some nice curtains, make the bed, happy days. People pay loads of money for that stripped back look and you don't need to lift a finger! Double dare you to put in a super low bid 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

You've sold me the land and setting straight away - but there's one tiny drawback as far as I can see. Is upland grazing really suitable for the horses?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
