You are all so my tribe
We seem to be in agreement on the burpees
Calf stretch board an excellent swap out, no struggling and collapsing doing something I struggle to even do one of but sensible swap to help with muscles strengthen to help knee. @badmemory next weeks challenge is going to be a hard one too, but, in a different way, no complaints only action, so go 7 days without complaining, blaming or making excuses which so it says - helps shift the mindset from victimhood to ownership and there is a chart to fill in. That is going to be a challenge for sure! I think @TallGirl was right, this was meant to come to me.
Todays exercise is a fun one. Each day there is an exercise to complete in writing, today's is "If God or the universe or whatever you want to call it were a delivery company and you could ask for anything today what would you ask for? Why?"
Yesterday's helped me focus on my life and I think that one might too..Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

On a more MSE front yesterday I checked my electricity bill (no mains gas here) and discovered I could save £5 a week swapping so I might do that. The only reason I didn't do it immediately was I wondered if the smart meter is compatible? Will need to check that before making a change.
Today I need to ring the agriculture merchant and pay for the materials needed to rebuild the wall.
Have also investigated with the VNM an area he has been clearing only to find that "someone" has dumped about half a ton of sand and half a ton of hardcore. I can only assume it was someone working here who left it behind and now the area is cleared it is obvious. The thing is it was not always there. I know that for sure. Anyway, positive move forwards, the men rebuilding the wall will have a digger here so I am going to ask them to move it for me, obviously will offer to pay their time. The VNM was going to move with the tractor but the bag was so rotten it broke and it will take ages for us to move it by hand. I think if they move it they could spread it behind the stables so it will "disappear". There a plan made.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Could the sand and hardcore be useful for filling holes? Ours always used to go onto a local farm track that needed constant attention! Alternatively, if you might have a future use for it, finding a way to store it tidily might be worth while. Or the wall people might even be able to use it/suggest a use for it.5

The hall way has been carpeted! Well not quite, a most MSE carpet. WattyDog slips badly on the tiles and so another rug was purchased for the hallway (that Swedish store is a great source of cheap rugs). It was a bit too wide, which I knew when I bought it and not quite long enough but the point was to make somewhere WattyDog did not slip on a budget. .
I unrolled it and asked VNM if in amongst his tools was a knife so I could hack it about a bit to make it fit better. Appalled by my "hack it about a bit" comment VNM told me to leave him to it and he has very neatly and carefully cut all the edges around door frames and it looks fabulous!
I don't have carpets downstairs because of coming in and out of the yard and I know I do not remove my boots so the tiled floors work better (and are so quick to sweep hay etc up) - but - WattyDog needs rugs - and I must say I could really become a fan of carpets. The hallway looks bigger and lighter and it is so nice underfoot. (When it has been muddy booted I'm not so sure about it but for now I love it)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
