I have pointed out that barking is on the "no list" as it shakes the body but he is not having any of that.
Last night we briefly visited the old lady up the hill and opposite the back gate and he went up the steps to her house before we could stop him (yes he was on a lead ......but determination). She came out to greet him, invited me in for a glass of wine and he was up the steps before I could decline.
As @beanielou put It "glad he is feeling better but ...."Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

That is a really tough one that one because he is clearly enjoying life again now he's pain is less however if he could just rest until he is much much better he may get a lot longer at the other end pain free but then again he does not know this. You are a wonderful owner and he sounds like a lovely dogs who clearly has lots of fans around your village.Save £12k in 25 No 49

One week into August and I feel a review is needed to make the last part of the year really count. One of the reasons I am dithering over the house is there might just be the chance I could either convert a barn or put something on the land. It is a slim chance as it is outside the correct application of planning law but I have spoken with the local council and they are willing to consider my point of view. It has taken about 2 months to get to this, so email sent today.
Everything crossed for a positive response as this would bring giving up work close and regain the money lost with PPH.
I now need to spend the weekend making plans for the final months of the year. More to come on this.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Reviewed progress and to my surprise things are going really well. Sometimes it helps to look and see how far I have come rather than how far I have to go.
The only thing there is not really progress on is why I feel so shattered all the time, and, why I am so cold. This might be just stress, but, a GP friend has suggested I get my GP to run some bloods just to be sure there is no underlying reason.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks @KajiKita
Yesterday popped to a garden centre and purchased a few plants to fill in some gaps then to aldi as it was close by. Had forgotten list so just purchased cider for the VNM, a couple of bottles of cheap fizz and a lot of fish for the freezer. Avoided the middle aisle. Considering that a win
Took one bottle of fizz to a party yesterday evening. Nice, Pizza and home made samosas outside in a garden with lovely people. Only stayed a few hours, although I expect they all partied until the early hours. I'm reluctant to leave WattyDog too long at the moment. (WattyDog clearly was feeling better, was left unsupervised while I hung the washing out yesterday, as I opened the door to come in, he chased the cat and put any recovery back days. Lesson learnt - he must go in crate EVERY time he is unsupervised).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Oh Watty-Dog … <said with hands on hips and a deep sigh> 😉
He’s proving to be a challenging patient isn’t he … 🤷♀️😊❤️
Glad you had a nice evening and good swerve on the middle aisle! 👏
