@Slinky and @Debsnewbudget Thank you! @TallGirl I had a think and I just don't have enough for cash cow but thank you.
The office tidy completed in that a cupboard has been cleared, one set of shelves tidied and one completely cleared and lots of "stuff" relocated. I found my pendulum which has been missing for months, although now I cannot remember why I really wanted it recently and found five leads for charging my phone so these are relocated to sensible places so it can charge up and the spares sensibly stored.
The VNM hoovered my office whilst I was out riding as a surprise and it looks fabulous. He did a really thorough job rather than my usual "show it the hoover"
A couple more items crossed off the lists that I made. The more items off the list the better, as now they are "to dos" that gone and cannot cause more stress.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Suffolk_lass said:Re your email - you probably know you could set up a g-mail account that gives you 10gb of cloud storage in a google drive for free. You could use one to archive the email from the linked account straight to the drive, and then link that account to a presentation system (whatever the latest equivalent to MS Outlook is; where the source accounts sit behind it and could be multiple). When I last used outlook, it also allowed me to set up an automated equivalent to out of office, advising people the account is dormant, or ceased, and redirecting them or auto-forwarding to another account. You might need more than one new account, as I think you know
First though I need to work out how to get into my google account, which has been one of those things I have been trying to figure out for a while now. I think I need to articulate a sensible question then send it to the tech chap I use. Maybe I could simply say "how do I get into my google account?"
After all my company pays a monthy fee for tech support as I'm really not that sure what I'm doing at all.

My company's financial year ends last day of July and I am delighted with progress. A friend robustly said to me "well you just have to earn some more money" after I settled with PPH and moaned about the empty pots. So that is what I set out to do at the settlement point.
Through sheer hard work, long hours and a lot of effort, my turnover has exceeded my expectations. My costs have also shot up as I have invested in getting help with things like IT and writing and managing tech issues like mailings but these have reduced my stress levels and allowed me to concentrate on the actual work.
As a result I have some savings, I have managed some much needed work on the house and have contributed to my pension sufficiently that I know I will now be ok. I may have worked evenings and weekends to get to this point but the choice was that or just struggle for the next 20 years and feel resentful about choices made.
As a fun exercise I did the sums of where I was with PPH and where I am today. Now whichever way one takes the figures I am worse off financially - but - I am happy - my confidence has grown - and I have a pension pot that is all mine and no one is asking me to bail out a joint account that is unable to keep up with the household spending. Which always strikes me as odd because I am managing that on my own now! (VNM contributes as he lives here obviously and that does help I admit).

Really well done.It must be so much easier to do what you have achieved when those involved are on your team & not opposing - looking at you PPH. In a sense a lesson to all of us who may have that negative person in our lives.5
