I chopped them into half or 3 subject to size and they really are the best part of the cake!Cherryfudge said:What a good idea to make a cocktail out of the leftover glaze! And did you chop the Brazil nuts or leave them whole? I like them a lot but I'd not thought of adding them to cake.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks for spotting that all of you. I don't always remember but I am trying to surround myself with joy and happy people. Was invited to a local village pub with friends but after a very frank conversation with the VNM about priorities his mother visit was slotted in earlier, she was very tired after her family Christmas day and then WattyDog Charming Cob the VNM and I all went to the local village pub where we sat outside and had fizz and cider and chatted to people we didn't know and waved to passing traffic. A very nice time was had by all, especially Charming Cob who was allowed to spend the visit grazing the grass outside the pub. I noticed there were some tie up rings so in better weather I'm going to ask the pub if I can pop along with a haynet for Charming Cob and then we can all go and have a roast, sitting outside with CC having a haynet and WattyDog having left over roast as a treat.
Nice to have a plan for better weather.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I love the idea that Charming Cob and WattyDog were also chatting to people, waving to passing traffic and enjoying fizz and cider

To be honest Charming Cob was just eating, but, we made people smile as they drove past as they slowed down, I waved and raised my glass in thanks and WattyDog greeted all entering the pub. He also sat very nicely on his lead next to Charming Cob when the VNM went in to buy drinks. I suggested he take WattyDog in but the VNM has ideas on behaviour not shared by WattyDog. One of them thinks begging complete strangers for crisps and helping oneself if they do not pay attention is acceptable behaviour and the other does not. I'll leave you to work out which is which LOLajmoney said:I love the idea that Charming Cob and WattyDog were also chatting to people, waving to passing traffic and enjoying fizz and cider

Reminds me of the new to the family Labrador that came to FiL’s last significant family event - she wolfed down his pork pie portion straight from his fingers! 😳😂Watty1 said:
